Jubilee Social Work
Program
The past few months have been
busy for the Klinik Jubilee Social
Worker Program, especially as we
continue to see growth within the
formula program. When I took over
this program last September, we
had funding for just 2 infants to
receive weekly formula and needed
medical expenses. Now, we have
14 infants in our program, providing
each with weekly formula, medical
care, and caregiver education,
praise the Lord!
For me, the most incredible part of
my job this year has been watching
these babies grow up. I can
remember when each one came
into my office for the first time, so
tiny and often suffering from illness
and various skin infections,
orphaned and accompanied by
new caregivers who were taking on
a lot of new responsibilities. My

now growing appropriately for their
age and at a healthy weight/height,
and healing from the illnesses they
suffered from only months earlier.

getting really chubby! My mamas
now come into our sessions with
questions, often asking on behalf of
their neighbors and other family

Jubilee School of
Discipleship
The JSD (formerly the
Jubilee Discipleship and
Training School) has a new
name and a new building! A
team from Christian
Missionary Fellowship
recently installed the roof.
This fall, the JSD will offer
sewing, welding, clay art,
cosmetology and English
classes. These classes are
directed by a HEART of
discipleship. Our desire is to
not only teach skills, but to
disciple each students in
who they are in Jesus. The
JSD welcomes Aaron Schulz
who will be directing the
welding classes.
Klinic Jubilee
The past couple of months
have been a season of
transition for Klinik Jubilee! At
the beginning of May, we said
goodbye to Cody Smith, who
is transitioning back to the
States with her husband Brian.
Her daily presence here will be
deeply missed, but she looks
forward to staying involved
with Klinik and will move into a
support role Stateside, helping
with fundraising and team
preparation. Klinik now has
two directors: Oscar Dieuson,
longtime Assistant Director, is
stepping into the role of
Medical Director, and will
begin full time in August after
he graduates from Nursing
School. Abigail Rucker is
joining our team as the
Administrative Director. She
has lived in Haiti since
September 2016, and is
excited to be a part of what
God is doing in Jubilee! May
also welcomed the addition of
a receptionist to our team!
Chrismane Pierre will be the
welcoming face that each
patient sees, and will be
working to assure each patient
receives the care they need by
scheduling appointments and
organizing dossiers.
Academie la Saline
(Jubilee School)
Academie la Saline just
finished its 9th school
year with a big year-end
party and program!
With 123 students in PK-3
through 6th grade, as well
as over 40 students in an
after-school program for
at-risk children from
Jubilee, the School
continues to grow and
provide a solid, Christ-
centered education. The
7th grade students have
been attending a local
Haitian school, as well as
attending classes at the
Jubilee School of
Discipleship.
We look forward to the
6th grade graduation on
August 19th and the start
of our 10th school year
on September 3rd!
