Classroom management

The classroom management strategies in the collage are very different what I
observed during pervious teaching practice in the schools, there are many strategies that
the teacher applied to control class such as: naughty corner, positive / negative
reinforcement and punishments. However, in the college, the teacher only depends on
oral conversations to manage the students and class. My MST doesn't use any effective
strategy with Misbehavior so they are repeat the Misbehavior over and over. In my
opinion, the teacher should be more serious with them because they are adult and they
have aware about rules of class.

I think that classroom management differ from children to adults but still the
teachers have to think about what strategies can apply with those adults. If conversations
do not achieve positive results, the teachers need to use punishment and reinforcement.
They can give them extra homework or prevent them from participating in class's
competitions.

In conclusion, I think that the application of the rules in the classroom requires
the skill of the teacher. Teacher should think about how to deal with the students and the
classroom before setting rules. For example, if I teach children I will use positive
reinforcement and negative reinforcement first and I will keep punishment as my last
choice. However, if I teach adults, I will provide them with counsel and use nice
comment to control their behavior.
