ABSTRACT
Have you ever wondered how sound travels? In a quick and simple
response, sound travels in waves at a speed of 331.5 m / s in the air.
Its speed depends on the medium through which it travels. But what
if the sound emitter is also moving? This is something Christian
Andreas Doppler, an Austrian mathematician and physicist, wanted
to know. As a result of his research he raised the Doppler effect. The
Doppler effect is defined as the change in apparent frequency of a
wave produced by the relative movement of the source with respect
to its observer. The clearest example of the Doppler effect, and the
one we find the most, is the sound of an ambulance or a car with a
siren.
