Job Description

Development Intern

Intern Position $100 / Monthly


Stipend

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Development Intern shall work as
part of the administrative team. The Development Intern shall be responsible for
participating in the development of work plans for addressing the needs identified,
implementing the plan, and ensuring the effort meets expectations as agreed upon
with the Executive Director.

% of Responsibilites
time (Duties and Tasks)
60% I. Supporting CPAF’s development efforts by:
A. Assisting with the use and administration of the organization’s funding raising
application including the entry of data into the system.
B. Assisting in the planning and preparing for the organization’s annual fund
raising event.
C. Assisting in the development and use of the organization’s electronic
communications systems including it web site and email communications.
D. Assist with the development and preparation of proposals.
E. Assisting the Executive Director respond to requests and inquiries from
community members
F. Assisting with development of marketing materials
10% II. Providing administrative support for the Board of Directors by:
A. Scheduling and coordinating Board meetings including committees.
B. Ensuring that documentation of Board activist and decisions are
properly recorded and documented.
C. Supporting with other Board functions as directed.

30% III. Assisting with the Organization’s Administrative operations by:


A. Provides support to the Executive Director and Director of Finance and
Administration as directed
B. Assisting with the processing of incoming mail.
C. Assisting with other administrative duties as directed.
