    Step
    1 Lifting heavy equipment Slings breaking, shackles, etc. All lifting gear inspected and certified. Color code of lifting
    gear. Clearly indicate color per term. SWL indicated on all
    lifting gear. Old lifting gear to be destroyed and disposed
    of.

    People standing under loads. Stay away under suspended loads. Always use guidelines
    for heavy and wide loads.

    Not enough support for crane. Lay matting boards under crane jacks; TP, NP or Drillers
    will supervise heavy lifts.

    Crane breaking down. Crane inspected and certified. TP, NP or Drillers will
    supervise all heavy lifts. List of certified cranes to be used
    to be provided by contractor.

    Improper handling of cranes. Only experience crane operators to operate. List of


    experienced crane operators should be made available by
    contractor.
    2 Working at night Accidents due to bad visibility. Heavy lifts should be avoided at night.
    Working in the vicinity of Damage to production lines, wellheads, etc. with Producing well will be closed on location.
    3
    producing wells consequently an uncontrolled flow of fluids or gas.
    4 Working during extreme weather Risk of getting sick or being hurt. When people feel unsafe, they have to stop the operation
