Auto-Provisioning for (Vo)LTE

After receiving messages from (Vo)LTE-capable terminals, the HSS9860 will

send a short message reminding subscribers to subscribe to the (Vo)LTE
services to use the high-speed data service. HSS9860

Feature Description

Implementation Principle

The auto provisioning of (Vo)LTE service is triggered when a subscriber powers on an LTE
terminal for the first time. The auto provisioning of (Vo)LTE service includes the following
scenarios:
● Initial attach procedure for separate deployment of the HSS and the HLR(GPRS Data
Conversion)
● Initial attach procedure for separate deployment of the HSS and the HLR(EPS Data
Subscription)
● Initial attach procedure for integrated deployment of the HSS and the HLR(GPRS Data
Conversion)
● Initial attach procedure for integrated deployment of the HSS and the HLR(EPS Data
Subscription)

Describes features, their implementation, benefits, and application

scenarios to give you a clear overview.

Value
SET Auto 23G-VoLTE The value of this parameter is described as
MAPCONF provision of follows:
LTE/VoLTE ● 23G-4G: The HSS automatically provides
services LTE services for a subscriber.
● FALSE: The HSS does not automatically
provide LTE or VoLTE services for a
subscriber.
● The value of this parameter is described
as follows:
● 23G-4G: The HSS automatically provides
LTE services for a subscriber.
● FALSE: The HSS does not automatically
provide LTE or VoLTE services for a
subscriber.
● 23G-VoLTE: The HSS automatically
provides VoLTE services for a 2G/3G
subscriber.
Use Gr TRUE The Gr interface is used for communication
interface for between the HSS and the HLR. Set this
synchronization parameter to TRUE if the HSS and the HLR
are separately deployed.
Synchronize TRUE Set this parameter to TRUE if the GPRS data
subscription conversion mode is used.

Notify the TRUE This parameter specifies whether the HSS
provisioning notifies the provisioning system after 2G or
system after auto 3G subscribers are automatically provided
