Notes:
• For this example only
two clutter weights (15
and 1) were considered
for all clutter classes.

Notes:
• Traffic information to
be specified in the
vector file.
• Traffic is only
spread on the vector.

15
Use indoor/outdoor traffic ratio

16
Use indoor/outdoor traffic ratio (cont)

17
Use indoor/outdoor traffic ratio (cont)

• The Use indoor/outdoor traffic ratio option is to be used with

the Regions and Network Data input sources.
• To identify bins as Indoor you can use either a clutter heights
file or building polygons.
• The 3D area can also have indoor and outdoor bins.
• Clutter Height of 0 m is considered outdoor bin.
• Bins located on Polygon Type not set to Indoor are considered outdoor
bins.
• Classified grid can be defined to limit 3D area.
• Specify weights on a per building basis.

18
Use indoor/outdoor traffic ratio (cont)

Notes
• Outer Polygon 10 km
x 10 km
• Building polygons
(10 m, 20 m and 30
m high)
• Traffic = 1000 Erl

19
Use indoor/outdoor traffic ratio (cont)

Building Heights: 10, 20, 30

Indoor Percent: 50
Outdoor Percent: 50

• Criteria to keep Signals

• Signal Strength greater than
“Signal Strength Coverage Threshold -
Ignore_Signals_Coverage_Threshold_Offset”
• Signal Strength greater than
“Strongest signal strength -
Ignore_Signals_Strongest_Signal_Offset”
• Signal strength that is one of the
“Max_Number_Signals_Considered” highest signals.
