5 CONCLUSIONS
 This monograph is very important because we can find out more about the history of
psychometrics.
 Now we can have more information on psychometrics thanks to internet facilities.
 This monograph will give information of the history of psychometrics to other students of
the career of psychology.
 Psychometrics tests have two characteristics, reliability and validity.
 A psychometric test is reliable because it measures something consistently, that is, the
application of the instrument gives stable measurements.
 A psychometric test is a valid test because it really measures the attribute it intends to
measure.
 Psychometrics is the quantitative study of mental processes and capacities. All
psychologists must learn the discipline of psychometrics.
 Psychometric tests are tests performed on people in order to quantify the characteristics
of the person.
 Psychometric tests are used to quantitatively measure the qualities of a person.
 An application of psychometric tests is to measure the intelligence, personality, attitudes
and academic performance of a person.
