Objectives:

a. To acquaint the participants with the prudential regulations of Bangladesh Bank.


b. To develop the expertise of the participants with the regulatory framework and supervisory mechanism of Bangladesh Bank.
c. To discuss the compliance requirements of Bangladesh Bank.

b. Different Approaches of Bank Supervision- Off-site and On -site.
c. Prudential Regulations of Bangladesh Bank.
d. Core Risk Guidelines, Guidelines for Green Banking, Guidelines for Risk Management, Guidelines for Islamic Banking.
e. Corporate Governance of Banks and Responsibilities of BOD, EC, Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee, Appointment of
Directors and CEO, Restrictions on Lending to Directors.
f. Disclosure Requirement of Commercial Banks.
g. Relevant Provisions of the Bank Company Act, 1991 (With Amendments in 2013)
h. Techniques of off-site and on-site supervision of Bangladesh Bank and correction of deficiencies identified.

i. Risk Based Capital Adequacy Guideline of Bangladesh Bank.

- Member banks of BIBM can nominate a maximum number of three (03) participants for a Training Course / Training workshop.

- All BIBM Training Courses / Training workshops are residential. Thus all member banks (except Bangladesh Bank) are required to pay Tk.1500 per
day per participant including holiday (if any) as food and hostel charges. Thus, for this course the total fee is Tk. 4,500 (Tk. 1,500 × 3 Days). For
Bangladesh Bank the total fees is Tk. 1,500 (Tk.500× 3 Days)

- The pay order / bank draft drawn in favor of BIBM is to be sent at least seven (07) days prior to the commencement of the Training Course/Training
workshop.
