The Graduate Global Business Education Scholarship will cover tuition only, and will not cover the cost of books, housing,
meals, travel or relocation costs.
Scholarship candidates should submit a letter of intent and a curriculum vitae to their CLADEA representative
________________, before June 1st, 2018.
Letter of Intent: The letter should describe why they are a good candidate for this scholarship and how this award will assist
them in reaching their educational objectives.
CV: The curriculum vitae must include the student’s final grade point average (GPA), and the university attended.
CONDITIONS
Once selected, the scholarship recipient will need to officially apply to the FIU College of Business and to their program of
choice. The scholarship will not be awarded until after the selected recipient meets the FIU College of Business General
Admission Requirements, completes the official University application process, and is officially admitted into their program of
choice.
Hold a Bachelor Degree from a regionally-accredited institution. Foreign degrees must be from a recognized
institution of higher learning.
Minimum GMAT or equivalent GRE scores. (Please refer to the program for specific score requirements).
Demonstrate English language proficiency. TOEFL or IELTS exam scores required from graduates of non-
English speaking countries. Minimum scores for the TOEFL are: 80 internet-based, 550 paper-based, and 213
computer based. Minimum score for the IELTS is 6.5
Be in good-standing with all previously-attended colleges and universities.

Special Considerations:
Students accepted through the FIU Business Graduate Global Business Education Scholarship will receive the VIP student
services of the Office of Global Initiatives (“OGI”) typically offered exclusively to international dual degree and inbound
business students. These services include special student support and orientation to FIU, access to the International Student
Ambassador Program, exclusive events and networking opportunities. The Office of Global Initiatives develops programs with
quality Business Schools at universities around the world for students and faculty to experience the “I” in FIU! These
programs include undergraduate and graduate dual ‐degrees, study abroad and exchange, and short‐term inbound and
outbound programs. OGI provides support services to incoming business (dual-degree and inbound students) as well as to
outgoing FIU business students. Additionally, OGI assists faculty and staff with outbound study abroad trips and international
