Pulse output /CP Pulse output, potential off (only for 4-wire units)
Damping /SD For gas applications a damping unit is recommended below the following pressure
only for stainless steel (See sizing programm edition 2.7 or higher editions)
In general you can specify without damping above following limits:
- Float type L: 1 bar g
- Float type M: 5 bar g
- Float type S: 10 bar g

- The recommended combinations should be preferred.
However if a lower pressure drop is necessary the
alternative combination can be selected.

- The real working pressure has to be less than the specified pressure limits of the Rotameter.
- Ambient and operation temperature has to be less than the specified maximum value.
- To avoid float bouncing in case of gas application notice the recommandations of VDI/VDE 3513 Sheet 3.
- To avoid mutual magnetic influence in case of a parallel design of several Rotameters take care that the
distance between the tube middle axes is not less than 300 mm. The distance to other ferrictic materials
should not be less than 60 mm.
- The strength of external magnetic fields close by the Rotameter should be approximately 0mT.
