Dodge ball is a sport or game where two teams throw balls at each other and when 1 player is hit

from the opposing the player that is hit will be out of the game. But if a player from the team

where a player is out, if the player catches a ball from the opposing team the player that is out

will return back into the game and the opposing player will be out for the game unless a ball is

caught or until the game is over. The game will only end when all 6 players (4 Men and 2

Women) are out from the game and the team with the last standing players achieve victory. In

this report we will attempt to relate work, power and energy to dodge ball.

Dodge ball is related to work, power and energy because there are many factors that consider the

3 given statements. The first factor is Running, at the start of every dodge ball game the team

runs to the middle where balls are placed and they get it and return it to the team, work is

considered here because there is force and distance, Work is Force multiplied by Distance and

with force (the force applied to move to the middle) and distance (the distance from the starting

point to the middle) therefore Work is created Power is also at work because work is already a

given and so is time (the time taken from starting point to the middle) since Power is equal to

Work over Time Power is clearly at work

The second factor I will state is throwing the ball to the other side, the given statements related

are Work and Power because Force (the force required to throw the ball) and Distance (the

distance from the thrower to the target location) since both are given Work is present. Power is

also present because Work and Time (the time needed to hit the place where the thrower is

targeting) are already a given therefore when put into a solution Power is present in the current

happenings

In Conclusion Dodge ball is related to science because its facts that I have stated above it is clear

that Dodge ball is related to the 3 given statements Work, Power and Energy because if you

looked at it even not in the perspective of a physics student you would most likely say yes...

(from experience) I from not knowing anything about any of this just until a few days ago It is
