Notes:
1. This is a classic triangular shawl worked top down in one piece. The shawls begins
with Garter Tab cast-on. You can find tutorial for this cast-on method here
https://blog.tincanknits.com/2009/08/02/garter-tab-cast-on/
2. The first and the last 3 sts are knitted in every row. They form a garter stitch tab
and are NOT included in the charts.
3. The center st is knitted in RS rows and purled in WS rows. It's marked with stitch
markers.
4. The size of the shawl is easy adjustable. You can rep stockinette and lace sections
as many times as you wish, until you get desired size.
Set-up row (WS): k3, p1, pm, p1 (center stitch), pm, p1, k3 = 9 stiches total.

After that work 6 rows in garter stitch and then BO all sts with bind-off picot method.
Insert RH needle into 1st st on LH needle, knit it, but don't drop the st off the needle.
*Insert RH needle between two sts on LH needle, wrap working yarn around needle
and pull it, this makes one more st. Rep from * once more. You CO 2 new sts.
Now we need to BO 4 sts as follows: k1, *k1, pass 1st st over 2nd * rep from * until all 4
sts will end to get a picot.
Rep steps 1-2 until you BO all sts.
Finishing
Weave in ends. Soak shawl in lukewarm water for 15-20 minutes with wool wash. Then
rinse it in warm water until the water is clean.
Squeeze it gently but don't twist! Roll it up in a bath towel and squeeze out excess
water once again.
Block shawl with blocking pins on blocking mats or any other flat surface. Stretch it out
from the middle outwards giving it a triangular shape.
Enjoy!
