Performance Based Mix Design of Concrete:

Method Statement:

1) Fine and Coarse aggregate grading tests to British Standard.

2) Modified ASTM C29 (or British standard equivalent) test to
determine void content for the following:
a. Combined Coarse aggregate, Fine aggregate for four
different ratios listed in the table below:

3) Concrete mix design for 3 different ratios of volume of cement paste /

volume of voids (calculated above). Cement content determined using
tables provided by British Standards.
