Question 2: [2 pts]

The circuit of Fig. 2 shows an implementation of a DAC

(digital to analog converter) with 4 bits (b3b2b1b0) that cab be
set to High (5V) or Low (0V).
a. Perform analysis to find the output voltage 𝑉𝑜 for a
binary input 0001 (as shown in Fig. 2).
b. Find 𝑉𝑜 for a binary input 1101. Fig. 2

Question 3: [4 pts]

(Text Boylestad 11th Ed. 2013)

a. Answer the textbook Prob. 10.7, p. 649 (Fig. 10.67)
b. Answer the textbook Prob 10.12, p. 650 (Fig. 10.71).
Explain why the first opamp is added??

Question 4: [5 pts]

a. Design the integrator opamp circuit in the notes with added loop R2 to integrate signals starting at 50Hz.
b. If an input square wave is applied and the observed output is also a square wave. Identify the problem if
any, offer solutions and implement solution.

Question 5: [5 pts]

a. Design the differentiator opamp circuit in the notes with series R1 to differentiate signals up to 50kHz.
b. If an input triangular wave is applied and the observed output is also triangular. Identify the problem if any,
offer solutions and implement solution.
