Subject: Official Agreement and Authorization form to participate in the Refer a Friend Incentive Programme.

Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus hereby authorizes the addressee to participate as a “Referral Recruiter” in the “Refer a Friend Incentive
Programme”. Please find below the procedures and terms and condition for this programme.

Procedure:

 The “Refer a Friend” programme is open to all Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus alumni, currently enrolled students and new
confirmed offer holding applicants to become ‘Referral Recruiters” when they refer new students to join the Dubai Campus for the
September 2017 Intake.

 A cash incentive as per below will be paid to Referral Recruiters participating in this programme when:

o They refer a new student who is not currently on the Heriot-Watt University applicants database to both apply and enroll at
the Dubai Campus for the September 2017 Intake.

o The referred new students actually enrolls (including paying required fees) at Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus but
payment of incentive to the Referral Recruiter does not take place prior to the new student joining and enrolling at the Dubai
Campus.

Terms & Conditions:

 Any Heriot-watt student/alumni intending to participate in this incentive programme should first contact the Admissions Office and collect an official
letter of authorization to become a “Referral Recruiter”

 Authorized Heriot-Watt students participating in this programme should then fill in an HWUDC Student enquiry form in conjunction with the
prospective student and deliver it personally, or by email to the Admissions Office before the new referred student approaches the University.

 The referred student enquiry form should bear the date, name and the signature of the Referral Recruiter; otherwise the Referral Recruiter will not be
identified.

 The referral recruiter should double check with Admissions Office if they have received the Student Enquiry Form (in case the form was not delivered in
person)

 The Admissions Office will check that the enquiry of the referred students is indeed new, and monitor the progression of the enquiry through the
application to the acceptance and registration stages

 The incentive will be paid to the Referral Recruiter after 6 weeks of the referred student becoming a valid, enrolled student in Heriot-Watt University
Dubai Campus

 In case of a situation where two or more Referral Recruiters claim an incentive for the same registered student, the earliest date and time on which the
Student Enquiry Form was received by the Admissions Office will be considered final and binding regarding the incentive payment.
