One day, Elizabeth, and her younger
brother Harry were excited as they were go-
ing to visit the Natural History Museum in
London.
When they got to the museum, Harry found
a dinosaur exhibit and ran off!
He ran past the tyrannosaurus – rex and got
a massive scare!
Then he ran so fast he bumped into
one of the dinosaur bones and he knocked it
all down to the floor.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth was looking at rosy
red rubies, shiny green emeralds and lots of
very pretty diamonds.
Harry came running back to Elizabeth and
she asked him, “Would you like an ice-
cream?”
“Yes please!” Harry replied, “I would like
chocolate!”
After they finished their delicious ice
creams, the children went to a new part of
the museum.
On the wall they saw a photograph of the
northern lights with a reindeer standing in
the snow.
As they look curiously, the North-
ern lights seemed to move. Suddenly the
picture shot out a blinding light and the
children felt soft snow on their face.....

Intr-o zi, Elizabeth şi fratele ei mai mic
Harry erau foarte încântaţi la gândul că urmau sa
viziteze Muzeul de Istorie Naturala din Londra.
Când au ajuns la muzeu, Harry a gasit o
expoziţie de dinozauri şi a dispărut in grabă...
A trecut pe lângă tiranozaur şi s-a speriat
îngrozitor!!! A rupt-o la fugă atât de repede,
încât a intrat din greşeala într-un os din scheletul
dinozaurului şi l-a dărâmat la podea. Între timp,
Elizabeth se uita la rubine roşii-trandafirii,
smaralde verde strălucitor şi diamante minunate.
Harry a venit iute înapoi la Elizabeth şi ea l-a
intrebat:„ Ai vrea să mănânci o îngheţată?,,
„ Da, aş vrea una de ciocolată„ i-a răspuns el.
După ce şi-au terminat delicioasele
îngheţate copiii s-au îndreptat spre o nouă parte a
muzeului. Acolo au vazut pe un perete o
fotografie interesantă cu aurora boreală şi un ren,
stând in zăpadă.
În timp ce s-au apropiat curioşi să se uite
mai de aproape, aurora boreală a părut să se
apropie de ei, au văzut o lumină strălucitoare, iar
următorul lucru pe care l-au simţit a fost zăpada
moale şi rece de pe obrajii lor...

They found themselves in Finland.
Elisabeth and Harry lay on the snow. They
made a snowangel and a snowman.
A little later the children saw some iceskat-
ers on the lake. Someone drilled a hole in
the ice and started ice-fishing. The tempera-
ture was -10 celsius (14 farenheit).
Suddenly Elisabeth saw a sturdy man. The
man was dressed in a red jacket. “Father
Christmas!” Elisabeth yelled. Carefully, Fa-
ther Christmas sat on the sledge before six
reindeers pulled it.

moved beautifully like a swan. Its glide
brought to mind a warm summer breeze.
Because it was cold outside, the children
dreamed about a warm place, an island in
the Indian Ocean.

Moş Crăciun stătea în sania trasă de 6

lebede. Acea mişcare blândă i-a dus cu gândul la
