YOUTH ALIVE - Philippines is the Youth Movement of Philippine General Council of

the Assemblies of God who leads in producing youths who are passionate in loving
God and making disciples.

It has its so called Five Ministry Areas

1. YOUTH MINISTRY
Each church youth gathered together building a healthy Christian community is
called Youth Ministry, which in turn built to become a blessing in the church and
the larger body of Christ in their sections, districts and finally the national
youth department. It desires to provide help to various youth programs and aims to
assimilate the other four ministry areas into the churches. Rev. Herman Dionson,
our National Youth Director, directly leads this ministry.

2. YOUTH ALIVE STUDENT MOVEMENT aka YASM

Withheld from using Chi Alpha as a campus identity, Youth Alive Student Movement
(YASM) was adopted and interestingly became more acceptable in many campuses all
across the country. This is also our Evangelistic Arm. Youth Alive Student Movement
exists to present Jesus Christ, the message of hope, to every student on every
campus and to develop leaders that produces the same. This is presently led by Ptr.
Ma Prisca Ubando from Northern Luzon District Council.

3. YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY

The main aim for the Young Adult Ministry is to equip the young adults and
professionals in the churches to become key leaders in their churches; both now and
in the years to come. It serves all 21-35 years old who are single or married,
below 21 who are married, and above 35 who are single. Atty. Rex and Mahal Batay-an
are our National YAM Co-coordinator. They are from Central Mindanao District
Council.

4. YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Youth Leadership Development or YLD(YALead) is a program equipping the different
ministry areas. It provides leadership training to sectional, district, or even
departmental groups. The program will also raise local trainers who will also be
training others in a two-level training module. Our Asst. National Youth Director,
Ptr. August Jay Rufo leads this ministry.

5. YOUTH ALIVE GO!

Youth Alive Go or YAGo! is the missions arm of our youth department. It will
provide missions mobilization and training from local to international outreaches.
It will also seek to provide training for those who will be going to work in
different countries as expatriates and immigrants. Philippines is at a strategic
position of influence in the vastly non-christian nations surrounding the
archipelago. YAGo! is led by Ptr. Liezl Panogalinga from Southern Mindanao District
Council.

That is the Five Ministry Areas of Youth Alive Philippines. What we are looking
forward is that through this ministries of Youth Alive, we will continue to
strengthen the churches, sections and districts. As someone has said, "Strong youth
ministry equals strong growing churches."
