IV. How can the vision and mission of the company influence or contribute to
your career that you want to pursue in the future?

It will become a stepping stone to the next work assignment I will face
and to move forward in the advancement of my career. My practicum also
helped me improve my professional skills which I find useful in my current job.

3. Too many levels of reporting in the organizational structure

VI. OVER-ALL EXPERIENCE

I established strong relationships with company’s employee. I learned a lot

about professionalism, setting goals and what to do in certain work-related
situations. I believe going through this practicum experience got me to become
a little more confident in the work I do. This will also help in the future as I am
better prepared for what will be expected in a work environment. At first, I did
not expect my practicum experience to influence my career goals. After
working in such a positive work environment, I have decided that in my current
career, that as a Sales Specialist might be a good fit for me. I still need to further
explore my options, but I like the fact that I could be directly benefiting people
and my work would give me purpose and enrich my life. Even though my
practicum site’s office is located in Lipa, Batangas, and working in a field on an
8 hour work, strenuous commuting and client’s negotiation, I still find my work
worth my time.
VII. How can this practicum experience help you in pursuing a career after
graduation?

This practicum experience helped me define for myself the type of work I
would like to pursue after graduation. But as a working student and currently
employed with this beautiful company, I will no longer look for another job to
replace my present job. Furthermore, the relationship I developed with my
supervisor not only reinforced my approach to sales affairs work, which is to
maximize my area of coverage in terms of sales, merchandisers management,
territory management but also taught me to become an effective sales territory
specialist. This experience has been valuable to me in my personal and
professional development and will continue to shape and inform my work sales.

VIII. With the course and major you are pursuing, how and what can you
contribute to the society as a whole?

The most meaningful learning I gained from this experience was the
shared responsibility of the company in creating a greener company and
providing livelihood for Filipinos is of more interest to SCPA.
I can share my knowledge I acquired in this company about being green
and preserving the nature.
Through social media that is being used widely nowadays, I can let them
know the hazardous effects of those recycled materials being used in making
tissue products as well as what to use in their households that will not harm them
and the nature.
