CONTRACT AGREEMENT

For The Hiring Of Consulting Services For Land Surveyor

This CONTRACT AGREEMENT is entered into on this ___ day of __________ 20__, by and
between ___, a Filipino, of legal age and a resident of _____, City (hereinafter referred to as
“CLIENT”) and ENGR. _______________, a Filipino, of legal age and a resident of ____
(hereinafter referred to as “CONSULTANT”).

WHEREAS, the CLIENT is the absolute owner of # parcels of land, specifically described by
their Lot No. and covered by their Tax Declaration No.’s, respectively:

WHEREAS, the CLIENT is required by the Municipality of Tuburan to acquire/procure an

approved survey plan of all seven lots mentioned herein.

NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby mutually agreed that:

SCOPE

1. The Consultant has agreed to conduct a land survey on each of the seven lots mentioned-
above.
2. The Consultant has agreed to acquire/procure for and in behalf of the CLIENT an
approved survey plan.

CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The CLIENT shall make available to the CONSULTANT or his duly authorized agent
copies of the current title; if not available, copies of the Tax Declarations/Lot No.
2. The CLIENT shall grant the CONSULTANT or his duly authorized agent access to the
properties to be surveyed and its adjoining lots.

CONSULTANT’S RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The CONSULTANT shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation,
communications, printing, copies, and work necessary to perform the Survey;
2. The CONSULTANT shall be responsible for requesting and/or processing the necessary
license(s) or permit(s) to conduct the land survey;
3. The CONSULTANT shall procure the necesarry approval from all the concerned
government offices of the Republic of the Philippiens and agencies; and
4. The CONSULTANT shall return after acquiring copies of the approved survey plan all
documents and papers and submit to the CLIENT the approved survey plan.

COMPENSATION

The CLIENT has agreed and will pay the CONSULTANT the total amount of Seventy
Thousand Pesos (Php/xx,000.00) in __ (xx) equal installments, which shall be in paid the following
manner:

a. The first installment, which is xx% of the total amount or equivalent to xxx
(Php/xx,000.00), shall be paid upon the effectivity of this CONTRACT
AGREEMENT.

b. The second, and last, installment, which is the remaining xx% of the total amount or
equivalent to Thirty-Five Thousand Pesos (Php/xx,000.00), shall be paid upon the
completion of this CONTRACT AGREEMENT.

DURATION OF THE SURVEY CONTRACT

 The CONSULTANT shall complete the Survey within xx (xx) Year from the date
of effectivity of this CONTRACT AGREEMENT.

TERMINATION

The CLIENT may terminate this CONTRACT AGREEMENT at any time for
any reason upon written notice to CONSULTANT. In that event, CLIENT will pay
CONSULTANT a part of the Compensation hereunder in proportion to the Services
performed through the date of termination.

EFFECTIVE DATE

The effective date of this CONTRACT AGREEMENT is the date indicated by

the CLIENT’S signature.
