Sequence,  an  annual  event  by  First  City  University  College  (First  City  UC),  is  an  event  that
showcases  authentic  and  inspired  works  of  final­year  students  from  the  Faculty  of  Design  and Today's Popular and Most Shared

Held  at  the  Oval  Concourse  within  the  1  Utama  Shopping  Centre,  the  launch  saw  distinguished
guests of honour comprising First City Corporation Sdn Bhd director and First City UC governor
Tan  Sri  Teo  Chiang  Liang,  Malaysia  Design  Council  director  assoc  prof  Dr  Mohamad  Hariri
Abdullah,  and  Nottingham  Trent  University  representatives  Dr  Steve  Clark,  Jonathan  Hamilton
and  Vince  Conway,  as  well  as  First  City  UC  top  management,  industry  leaders  and  partners,
event sponsors and fellow students in attendance.

“The  objective  of  this  event  is  to  showcase  how  well  prepared  our  graduates  are,  and  how
employable  they  will  be.  Some  of  the  graduating  students  have  already  been  offered  jobs  even
before  their  final  year  results  are  announced.  This  is  indeed  a  feather  in  the  cap  for  our
graduating students and for us as a provider of industry relevant degree education and training.

“This  is  also  testimony  to  the  quality  of  our  lecturers  and  the  state­of­the­art  equipment  and
learning facilities that are available for our students,” Teo said in his opening address.

Sequence  2018  also  saw  the  unveiling  of  a  new  programme,  BA  (Hons)  in  Fashion  Marketing.
