Senate of the Philippines

Dear Senator Pacquiao:

Warmest greetings!

In a decade of service, San Jose Provincial High School has steadily produced graduates who have gone
on to live productive lives. Yet, in spite of this dedicated service, the school’s buildings are prone to
greater risk of deterioration owing to its peculiar location right next to the seafront. Needless to say, in
spite of our best efforts at preserving the integrity of the structure against the ravage of time and the
elements, the original two-story building’s leaking roof and peeling paint serve as a weary testament of
our battle-hardened institution.

In proactive response to DepEd Memo No. 73, s. 2016 entitled Child Friendly School System at the
Elementary and Secondary Level that recognizes that utmost importance of the partnership of the school,
family and the community, the undersigned is informing your office of our priority areas that I firmly
believe need urgent attention.

In this regard, may we ask for financial assistance from your office to help us purchase painting
materials and equipment that will be used by our stakeholders and partners during our upcoming
Brigada Eskwela this coming May 2018. We are counting on your generosity and benevolence towards
our poor children whose future depends much on the quality of their education.

Thank you very much and may the Almighty bless you more!

With much gratitude,

ESTHER M. VILLARIN
School Head
