1. According to William Luijpen, there are two kinds of consciousness. These are the Pro-reflective and Reflective.
3. Luijpen distinguishes two elements in knowing, the subject and the object. Subject is also called noesis and being
outside itself with reality while object is also called noema and the reality of the object to which consciousness is
present.
4. An immanent act according to Luijpen is an act which originates from the subject which I am and remains in me
as my perfection. An example: I have just finished reading a beautiful book.
5. Dominique Dubarte presents two kinds of dialogue. These are, dialogue with the natural aim of unanimity, and
dialogue of convictions and their confrontations.
6. The first kind of dialogue aims at intellectual agreement on the basis of evidence open to all and makes it possible
in principle to establish true knowledge. The second kind of dialogue involves philosophical, religious, and political
convictions.
7. The second kind of dialogue has 3 main objectives. One of these objectives is to remove graze matters in dispute.
8. There are three kinds of dialogue according to Bubber. Genuine dialogue, Technical dialogue and a Monologue
disguised as a Dialogue.
9. Genuine dialogue is when its participants have in mind the other, and turns to him to establish a mutual living
relationship between them. Technical dialogue is prompted by the need of objective understanding.
10. Love is an active power in man and it’s characterized by giving the highest expression of my potency. Certain
basic elements in love are care, responsibility, respect and knowledge.
11. The Filipino concept of Love is conditioned by our history and culture. The most popular subject in the world is

from the others and to give back fragments of his own philosophical outlook.
