1.

Two auto-transformers in parallel have 190V as input and 330V as output are connected
to a capacitive load of 1467Ω. A voltmeter is connected about the load to measure the
load voltage.

2. A wound rotor induction motor with 3Φ variable supply is working as a squirrel cage
motor. An ammeter is connected to check the supply current.

3. An auto-transformer has 51V as its input and 190V as output. There is an inductive load
of 880Ω connected to the output. Connect an ammeter so that the current being
supplied to the load can be measured.

4. Two transformers connected in parallel have identical features. They both have input
rating of 139V and output rating of 330V. Now connect these two transformers to a
resistive load of 1467Ω with a voltmeter to measure the output voltage.

5. A synchronous motor is connected to a mechanical load. There are ammeters to

measure both the armature and field current so that high current cannot pass through
the coils unnoticed.
