• Depression is 5 times higher.

9 times more than the general population.

How You Can Help

Bridging mental health and the entertainment industry, Entertainment Assist falls through the cracks when it comes
to government funding guidelines and most Trusts and Foundations. Entertainment Assist is currently funded solely
through the generosity of private donors, one foundation and one corporate sponsor. With programs being rolled
out, industry buy-in, a solid evidence base outlining need, systems in place and a clear strategy for moving forward,
the organisation needs assistance more than ever.
Unrestricted financial support is needed for Entertainment Assist’s Intermission mental health training
program, support, advocacy, information and referral, and online community activities.
Entertainment Assist is a health promotion charity with all related tax concessions, including tax deductions for
donations.
