Global warming is the observed and projected increases in the average temperature

of Earth's atmosphere and oceans which affect the global. It can have many different causes,
but it is the most commonly associated with human interference, specially the release of
excessive amounts of greenhouse gases (EPA, 2006) in Yesul et. al (2010). Carbon dioxide,
methane and fluorinated gases are type of greenhouse gases. I agree that preventing global
warming is a global responsibility due to some reasons.

Sea level rise is one of the most certain impacts of global warming. If see level
continues to rise, thousands of square miles of land in densely populated areas such as the
eastern U.S and Bangladesh may be lost, and flooding during storm surges will worsen.
Plant and animal are also affected when global warming happened. They might lose their
habitat, loss of native plants, changes in pollination, changes in migration patterns and
possible extinction ( Scenic Hudson, 2010). The worst effects of global warming caused by
human is killer heat waves which is the extreme temperature increasing.

Global warming is a global responsibility because ‘one bad apple spoils the barrel’
which means if a party does not play a role in reducing global warming, the other party will
also be affected. To prevent global warming, emissions of carbon dioxide and other
greenhouse gas must be controlled by all human in this world. Human-caused pollution, from
factories, fossil fuel combustion and other activities, is contributing to an enhanced
greenhouse effect and global warming (Jacqueline Lerche, 2011).

Usage of everything that emit greenhouse gases should be reduce. Emission of these
gases coming out from various sources such as electricity production which the production of
electricity we use in our daily life. Transportation also contribute in emission of greenhouse
gases which primarily come from burning fossil fuels for cars, ships, planes, trains and
trucks. Companies and homes also emitting the greenhouse gases from the burning of heat
from fossil fuel. Agriculture also contribute in releasing greenhouse gases from certain
chemical reactions necessary to produce goods from raw material. All this aspect should be
taken care by world by reducing the usage so the global warming will be prevented.

However, electricity production generates the largest share of greenhouse gas

emissions. It is 67 per cent of our electricity comes from burning fossil fuels, mostly coal and
natural gas ( Jacqueline Lerche, 2011). Controlling the usage of the electricity production
itself can reduce most of the possibility the global warming to increase. If only electricity
production controlled, greenhouse gases comes from transportation, industry, commercial
and residential will still be produced continuously and will emit the gases which still can
cause an increasing of global warming. Evident that, preventing global warming is a global
responsibility.
 Preventing global warming is a global responsibility because all living things in the
world play an important role in preventing global warming including trees. Planting trees and
other plants can slower or prevent the global warming. It is because plants absorb carbon
dioxide and release oxygen to the surrounding. It means plants turns the air filled with carbon
dioxide into a fresh air. Plants use their own tissues and return some of it to the soil in a
process called sequestration. Trees, woods and forests can provide part of the solution to
limiting climate change, and to helping society to adapt to the changes that we all face
(Forestry Commission England, 2010). Human being should cooperate to grow the trees,
plants and forest all over their places to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases widely.

However, only the deforestation of rain forest which made the most contribution that
lead to global warming and CO2 emission should be stop. Deforestation is clearing Earth's
forests on a massive scale, often resulting in damage to the quality of the land ( National
Geography, 2015). Means only the loggers should contribute to stop the global warming. If
the deforestation is reduced, the global warming also can be reduced. But, to make loggers
stop the deforestation, people around the world should run a campaign and government
should tighten the law. It is the best way to stop the deforestation since the world is
contributing to prevent the global warming by stopping the deforestation. It shows that
preventing global warming is global responsibility.

I agree preventing global warming is a global responsibility because everyone should

reduce their waste. The production of garbage contributes to global warming both directly
and indirectly. Waste requires energy to manufacture in the first place while decomposing
waste in landfills produce methane and other greenhouse gases. To reduce the waste,
recycling metal, plastic, glass should and paper should be level up by the household and all
people to lowers greenhouse gas emission since recycled items take far less energy to
manufacture then items produced from scratch (Rachel Steffan, 2010). All people in the
world should reduce the consumption patterns and reusing items whenever possible.

However, reducing the waste is not the only way to save energy. The machine used
in the production of garbage should be modified to be more efficient. To stabilize the climate,
the technology should be used to reduce the usage of energy generated (Greenpeace,
2010). So it’s the responsibility of the machine itself to reduce the energy consuming and
prevent global warming. For example, a machine used in the production of garbage must
have a function for filtering gases emitted so that it does not affect the world and the global
warming can be prevented.

Last but not least, I agree preventing global warming is a global responsibility. It is
because emission of greenhouse gases comes from various sources and sector such as
electric production, transportation, industry, residential, agriculture, deforestation and waste.
All living things in this world play a big role to ensure the prevented of global warming. All
aspects should be taken care without left one aside to make sure the global warming can be
prevented widely It is proven that, preventing global warming is a global responsibility.
