Visitors, welcome.
We hope you are blessed through worshiping with us today. Our host family
has prepared a meal to share and to visit with you in their home. In the
narthex, after the service, the hosts will introduce themselves and invite you.
 Today, seminarian Seth Huckstead will conduct the morning worship
service and HRC candidate Scott Dibbet will conduct the evening service.
 Next Sunday, Dr. David Murray will lead our worship, D.V.
 Today, Pastor L. W. Bilkes is serving the Pompton Plains FRC.
 The Sunday School/Catechism classes (Beginners – 7 grade) are

 All members and visitors are encouraged to attend our Adult Bible
class on Sunday mornings, after the service.

 Boys and Girls Club - We are planning the new year of Boys and Girls
Club and need to hear from anyone interested in leading and helping.
Please speak with Steve Kleyn if you can give time to help this year. We
invite all children from 2nd grade and up to attend on the 2nd and 4th
Wednesday evenings of each month beginning at 7:00.

join us for a day of instruction & fellowship on Saturday, October 23, 2010.
the meeting will take place at the London FRC from 10 AM – 3 PM. Coffee
10:00-10:30 and lunch 12:00-1:00 will be provided. Dr. Jerry Bilkes will
speak on "APOSTASY" - are some of our members abandoning the faith or
the local reformed church? Why? Please advise me, Eric DeKorte,
(ejdekorte@gmail.com) as to how many will be attending from your group
before OCTOBER 15th so I can let the ladies know for the food amount. We
hope to see many of you! Any questions please email me.
 We welcome Andrew Bergsma into the fellowship & membership of
the congregation. Andrew comes to us from the London FRC.
 Puritan Reformed Seminary is offering a Dutch language evening
course starting in November. See bulletin board in the narthex for details.
~ Free Reformed Missions Update ~
Although the missionary families are no longer living in Cubulco, there are
26 local Christians working for the mission. Some are busy translating
God’s Word into Achi, others are teaching from a biblical perspective in
numerous Schools, teaching children in the two learning centres or leading
their local churches. While the missionary workers left earlier than was
initially planned, the local workers have taken on new leadership roles and,
on the whole, have done very well. See the next issue (October) of Gospel
doors for more details. Unfortunately, funding is quite low. The team in
Cubulco deserves both our prayerful and financial support. Let us not let
them down!

October 12 (Tuesday) 9:30 AM Ladies Bible Study. Coffee is at 9.30.
Lesson starts at 10. Nursery is provided. Women of all ages are welcome.
October 13 7 PM Boys & Girls Club season Kick-off. We will have a hot
dog roast at church.
October 13 7 PM First Fellowship meal and meeting of the season. Dr.
David Murray will be speaking on Christ in Genesis.
October 16 (Saturday) 7 AM Men’s Breakfast Bible Study. Please consider
attending the Men's Breakfast Bible Study as we just began another
season. We meet at church on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month for a
time of study, prayer, and fellowship. We will be continuing our study on the
book of James. Speak with Steve Kleyn if you have any questions.
Advanced Notice: Speaker Evening: You are invited to a Speaker
Evening, hosted by the FRC Sunday School Association, on Friday,
November 12, 2010 at 8:00pm in the Hamilton FRC. Rev. Schouls plans
to speak on the topic “Addressing our Covenant Children”. Everyone is
welcome to attend this annual event, especially parents and teachers.
