Re‐levelling For Traction‐Rope Elevator Using ARL‐300 & ADrive 

 Especially, in high rise buildings, there will be level difference due to bending of ropes when the amount of load increases 
or decreases in the elevator. Re‐levelling to correct these floor level mistakes. Is carried out according to the following links 
and settings. 

Equipment needed for re‐levelling in traction rope elevators: 

‐ Software Version of ARL‐300 has to be V2.17 or newer one.  

‐ Software version of ADrive has to be v8_83 or newer one.  

‐ To determine threshold aberration, two pieces 10 cm stick magnets are to be used together with stopping magnets. 

ARL300 connections, settings and magnet orders: 

‐PR relay of ARL‐300 is used to run re‐levelling procedure. Moving signals should be come together to inputs V1&V2 of 
ADrive. In ARL‐300 menu, the parameter "PR RELAY FUNC." must be set to "2nd MOTOR CNTRL.". 

The connection between ARL‐300 and ADrive can makes as shown Figure‐1.

‐  Counter  type  must  be  selected  on  menu  of  ARL‐300.  To  enter  menu  it  needs  push  during  3  seconds  to  Left  button  of 
ARL300.  Push  right  button  until  see  parameter  of  “SELECTOR  TYPE”.  Counter  type  must  be  selected  “ML1  &  ML2  A3 
COUNTER” 

 
How to arrange magnets of ML1&ML2 A3 counter system 

‐ Re‐levelling parameters must be selected “DISABLE”. 

‐ All magnets must be ordered according to schematic of page 13H3. Installation of elevator is completed. Leds’ 141&142  
of  magnetic  switches  must  been  “off”  when  elevator  stops  at  threshold.  Pass  the  other  steps  after  elevator  works  in 
normal mode. 

While  car  is  standing  at  threshold  to  determine  place  of 
stopping magnet, the magnet is slid slowly to upward. 

Put an end to slide to upward when “on” led of magnetic 
switch. 

The magnet slide to downward about 2 cm from place of 
led is “on”

Same procedure is implemented for magnet orders of downward after the magnet orders are arranged as explained 
above. 
  

While  car  is  standing  at  threshold  to  determine  place  of 
stopping magnet, the magnet is slid slowly to downward. 

Put  an  end  to  slide  to  downward  when  “on”  led  of 
magnetic switch. 

The magnet slide to upward about 2 cm from place of led

Re‐levelling parameter must be activated on menu of ARL‐300 after magnet orders are arranged. 

Settings of ADrive: 

 Re‐levelling speed should be selected be 0,05m/s.

Testing of Re‐levelling:  

Give a call for any floors. While car is standing at floor. Brakes are opened by manually. The brakes are closed after car 
move a few centimetre. ARL‐300 run re‐levelling procedure if signal may comes to ARL300 from 141 or 142. Car comes at 
floor level and re‐levelling is completed.
