Comments on "Red Alert" Treatment
I agree with you that this is not much of a story. At least
Mr, Daley's treatment doesn't show much, I can't under-
stand why this was submitted to us. It is completely a
military story. As a matter of fact he was somewhat’
sponsored by the military in his research.
His style of development and presentation is patterned
directly from TV. He should make his approaches to the
TV networks or independent producers, not us.
I think Tom Paradine is a wonderful fellow and I wouldn't
mind doing a favor for him any time, but I can't see any
interest for us in this property.

iden,
Dear Ken:
Mr. Arthur Daley, who is on the
staff of the Governor's Press Secretary ho
and who is a creative motion picture and
television specialist, has an interesting
production idea for TV. This might fall
right in line with your sound observation
about the total lack of impact in the
translation of "Alas, Babylon",
In any event, if you feel the
story line that Daley has in the enclosed
treatment is of any interest, you might
want to get in touch with him directly,
Personally, I like his treatment!
With my sincere best wishes,
Cordially,
INS
