EMBlem 2017
EMBlem 2017 is an academic event where in students who have gone through the
course subject ECONOMICS may compete with other students through their knowledge about
the said subject. This project of Export Management Society will be headed under the
supervision of Mr. Ferdinand Alversado with the EMBlem project managers Princess Catherine
Umali (11526006) and Len Louise Salvador (11525445).
Project Rationale
Project Statement
EMBLEM is a project proposed by the Export Management Society (EMS) wherein the
students who have gone through Economics show their abilities, skills, and knowledge they
acquired throughout their classes in the Export Management Program through an activity such
as a quiz bee. The project aims to identify the subjects wherein the students struggle with, and
help them improve their knowledge and skills for future needs.
Project Objective
To develop their knowledge and skills from understanding and applying the
Economics subjects in real life.
To make students meet with other fellow students they haven’t met.
To be able to holistically improve the students’ skills
To be able to maximize the target participants of 60 students

Logistical Requirement
I. Materials needed:
Buzzer – for us to know if the group is done answering the question and for us to
know which group answer first and correctly.
Small white boards – for them to answer faster and easy to change it when they
think their answer is wrong.
Whiteboard Marker – for them to use it when they are answering.
Tables and chairs – each group has tables and chairs for them to comfortably
answer the questions.
II. Venue - This project will be held at 5th Floor Duerr Hall Auditorium at 8:00 to
11:00 am on June 21,2017.
III. Equipment - Logistics may ask to the ITD on projector, speakers, lapel, clicker and
the ID Tapping.
IV. Facilitator - Each group has a person or officer to monitor what they are doing
and also to be a scorer.
Expected Output
After the activity, the Export Management Society hopes that participants would be
aware, able to recall, review and be eager to learn more about economics and other major
subjects as part of Export Management program. It caters to test the knowledge of Export
Management students of Benilde and how proficient they are in applying their learnings into
the real business or corporate world.
Success Indicator
The EMBLEM Project is said to be fully successful if 100% of the participants (60
participants) is present and 35% of the budget is saved. Putting into consideration unexpected
situations or conflicts, the event will still be considered successful if at least 85% of the
participants (45 students) are present.

Benildean Core Values (Benildean Expression of the Lasallian Cove Values) Promoted
The Export Management Society aims to embody most of the Benildean Core Values
such as Professional Competence, faith, appreciation of Individual works and creativity. The
Export Management Society, and the participants of the event are expected to exhibit honesty,
or faithful representation and professional competence during the competition by recalling and
applying their learnings from different subjects. Appreciate the efforts of both the organizers
and the participants for doing their best in the event, and apply creativity by making this project
come to fruition with innovative of turning it to a fun, and interactive event.
Program
This project of Export Management Society have a total budget of P10,000, attached is
the breakdown of the event budget.
