ABSTRACT
Called chronic gastritis when infiltration of inflammatory cells that occur in the lamina
propria and intra epitelial region consists mainly of cells on the cholesterol rubur (inflammation)
chronicles, namely lymphocytes and neutrophils in the area indicates the existence of activities
that make the work of the stomach (Herlan, 2012).
The effects of chronic gastritis The complications in this case are the impairment of
vitamin B absorption due to lack of vitamin B12 absorption, causing pernicious anemia, iron
absorption disorder, and narrowing of the pyloric region (release from the stomach to the gut of
twelve fingers) Ardiansyah, Muhamad.2012).
Gastroduodenitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes of the stomach and
duodenum. Common symptoms of this disease are weakness, lethargy, sleep disorders, headache,
sharp cramp pain in the upper abdomen, nausea vomiting. Gastroduodenitis is a form of chronic
gastritis, and the inflammation goes to the duodenum.
This research is a qualitative research with case study approach aimed to know the
nursing care of family with gastritis in Singkawang Utara 1 year 2017. Type of instrument used is
the assessment of the existing reference format. Participants in this study amounted to 2 families
who have family members who have chronic gastritis with gastroduodenitis and have met the
criteria of inclusion established by researchers.
Result of research: Ny. R has a complaint that is often felt that the stomach feels bloated, pain
diuluhati and dizziness. Ny. D has a common complaint he felt that often feel anorexia if late
eating pain diuluhati, flatulence and nausea. Implementation of nursing adjusts to a
predetermined plan. The results of the evaluation on the family Ny. R, and Ny. D, that 2 families
have been able to recognize chronic gastritis with gastroduodenitis.
Conclusion: Family nursing care with gastritis in North Singkawang 1 in 2017 has
been in accordance with the expected goals. Suggestion: it is expected for health center to improve
health service, especially nursing care service given to the society, and maintain good cooperation
between health team and client, so that nursing care given can support client recovery in general
and chronic gastritis client with gastroduodenitis at Especially in chronic gastritis patients treated
at home
