GUIDELINES TO M.B.A. PROJECT REPORT


PREPARTION
(for 2008-09 ACADEMIC BATCH)

You are advised to carefully read the instructions given


and follow them in the preparation of the Project Report. Non-
compliance with any of these instructions may lead to rejection
of Project Report submitted.

 The duration of the Project Work will be as specified in


the regulation and scheme of examination.
 You are expected to undertake project work
individually and submit an individual project report.
 The Supervisor shall have a minimum of MBA degree
with 5 years of teaching experience in the concerned
specialization in institute which often the MBA
programme. Any one with more than 15 years of
corporate experience after acquiring NBA shall alone
be considered as a guide. The system of a guide and
co-guide is also accepted, in which care the guide shall
be turn the institute concurred and the co-guide from
the corporate sector. Any staff members of an
institution with a Ph.D degree in such subjects as
psychology and commerce shall also the considered as
guides.
 No guide can guide more than 15 students of MBA
Degree course in a particular batch.
 Project reports should be typed/printed in double line
space using A4 size bond papers with a left margin of
column 10and right margin of column 75.
 All pages should be numbered. The preliminary pages
of the Project Report (such as title page,
acknowledgement, table of contents, etc.) should be
numbered in lowercase Roman numbers and pages of
the main text starting with chapter-1 should be
consecutively numbered in Arabic numbers.
 Binding specifications: Wrapper should be LIGHT BLUE
in colour and printing of wrappers should be done in
the press WITH SOFT BOUND.
 A certification from the organization where you
undertake the project work should be obtained and
copies of the same should be duly enclosed in the
project report.
 Three copies of the project report should be submitted
positively on or before the stipulated date by the
controller of examination to the Director/Principal of
the partner institution.
 No one could use the emblum of this University in the
Project Report.
 The format of the report is as follows:

1. Wrapper
2. Copy of the Wrapper
3. Declaration by the candidate (in the format as in
annexure -I)
4. Certificate ( in the format as in annexure – I)
5. Certificate from the organization
6. Acknowledgement
7. Synopsis
8. Table of contents (in the format as in annexure-II)

10. Bibliography ( in the alphabetical order of
authors)
