of Geometry as well as strengthen concept learned in IM1.

Textbook:
Carnegie Learning, Integrated Math 2, 3rd Edition, Student Text
Materials: The student will need to bring to class daily;
 A three-ring binder with paper for homework & worksheets.
 A pencil.

Homework & Attendance:

Assignments will be given daily and will be due the following school
day. In the case of an excused absence, the student will be given two days
for every class that is missed to make up the work. In the case of long term
absences, the student should make arrangements to get assignments from a
classmate, if possible to receive tutoring and to meet with me upon return to
class to establish terms for making up missed work. In the case of an
unexcused absence, the teacher will determine whether or not to accept
make-up work.
Integrated Math 2 builds upon a pyramid of skills. It is difficult to
learn new material when a student falls behind. It is very important to attend
every class, to do the assignments and to seek help when you cannot do the
work. Extra help is available from one of the math teachers after school.

Participation & preparedness:

The student is expected to be an active participant in the class and
arrive in class prepared to learn.
