This contract is made on the 2th August 2018 between Aqua Refinery Limited (Employer),
(Address: South Avenue Tower, 2nd floor, House 50, Road 3, Gulshan 01, Dhaka 1212) and M/s
Ideas IT Ltd. (Contractor), Multiplan Center, New Elephant Road, Dhaka for the
installation/construction, testing, commissioning and handover of Internal floating roof (IFR) at
Aqua Refinery Ltd.,Shantanpara, Danga, Polash, Narsingdhi.

Project Location:

Shantan para, Danga, Polash, Narsingdhi-1600, Bangladesh

Scope of Works:

Installation and erection work of internal floating roof including following works for eight number
of Petroleum Storage tank of different capacity.

1. Installation Pontoon type internal floating roof.

2. Making connecting between rafters to girder.
3. Making connecting between rafters to rafters.
4. Making connection of float profile.
5. Making connection between rafter to top profile.
6. Installing leg support.
7. Making connection between rim to rim.
8. Making seal connection.
9. Doing anti rotational cable connection.
10. Installing vacuum breaker.
11. Installing gauge funnel.
12. Manhole covers installation.
13. Anti-static cable connection.
14. Making pipe opening.
15. Installing foam dame properly.
16. Installing seal between tank shells and floating roof.

Terms & Condition:

1. Floating roof must be constructed as per the drawing, design provided by employer.
2. Contractor must follow API-650 Annex H.
3. Employer is responsible for providing Design, Drawing and Material.
4. Contractor will be responsible for all necessary/ regulatory permits and local alliance if
necessary.
 5. Power (150KW-200KW, 3Phase, 4 wire, 415V 50Hz), water for construction and utility is
employer scope. Contractor will arrange to extend the connections with necessary
distribution box, cable, pumps etc.
6. Employer will provide only space to contractor to set up site office, store and labor shed.
Contractor will construct them by his own.
7. Rate of works is excluded VAT and TAX.
8. Final quantity of works will be settled as per actual SFT of IFR.
9. Contractor will not be allowed to appoint any subcontractor for IFR installation.
10. Contractor will be responsible for any accident of their man power, machineries and he
will bear all expenses incurred settled by court or employer.
11. Machine & other Consumable Items like welding machine, drill machine, Grinding
machine, cutoff saw, welding road, grinding disk, cutting disk, drill bit etc. will be supplied
by contractor.

Work and Quality:

1. Contractor will repair all defective jobs found after inspection.

2. Contractor will run floating test with water.

Work Eligibility:

1. All jobs will be performed by qualified workers.

Safety and Security:

1. Contractor shall arrange all PPE for his people.

2. Employer will provide site security and lighting.

Completion of works:

All jobs will have to finish by two months after the date of start.

Payment Mode:

1. 40% of the Contract value will be paid as mobilization advance along with the work
order.
2. 50% of the final bill will be paid as running bill during working period.
 3. 10% of final bill will be paid within 7 days after completing of the whole work.
