ARCI is an autonomous scientific centre under Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of

01. Post Code : 01 Essential: Master’s degree in Physical Sciences
SCIENTIST “F” or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology
No. of Posts: One (1) or equivalent from a recognized University.
Mode of Recruitment:
On deputation basis/Short-term Contract Desirable:
for a period of three (3) years. a) Doctorate degree or equivalent in related
Eligibility for Deputation: Scientists or subject from a recognized University.
Technologists working in the Central/ b) Experience in managing and leading R&D
State Governments/Universities/ Reputed projects/programmes on fuel cells.
Research Institutions/Semi-government, c) Published research work of high standard

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and
Age Limit: Should be able to complete computer programming. Expertise in one or more

desirable. Working knowledge of scripting tools
Pay Level : 13A and programming languages like MATLAB,
(total emoluments : 1,79,445/- p.m.). PYTHON, FORTRAN, C, C++ will be an added
advantage.
Job Requirement: The candidate is expected to
lead a dedicated group on Computer Simulation
and Modelling catering to the wide range of
problems that are of interest to ARCI.

02. Post Code : 02 Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in
SCIENTIST “B” Physical Sciences (Physics/Chemistry/Materials

* Total emoluments are as per 7th CPC which includes basic pay, DA as applicable, HRA and

Mode of Selection

(a) Selection for the post of Scientist “F” (on deputation) will be through personal
interview for the short-listed candidates.

(b) Selection for the post of Scientist “B” will be through written test/and or personal
interview for the short-listed candidates.
