Placement Co-ordinator’s message:

The placement cell of SPAV, looks after the interests of the students and
the recruiting organisation by acting as a channel of communication between
them. The school was established in 2008 while placement cell in 2012. Since
then 5 batches of Bachelors in Planning and 2 batches of Masters In Planning
with specialisations - Environmental Planning and one batch of Urban &
Regional Planning constituted of 200 ,30 and 20 students respectively have
been placed through campus placements.

A database of recruiting organisation is available which is continuously

updated thereby helping the students to get internships and placements. It is
our consistent endeavour of SPAV to identify the evolving planning imperatives
of industry and pursue a multidisciplinary approach to harness and channelize
the latent potential of our budding planners.

Students of earlier batches have carved out a niche for themselves as

assets to their organisation. This fact is reinforced by enthusiastic response from
the corporate world in the form of placements.

Several workshops, Guest Lectures, Seminars are organised regularly to

improve the performance of students in the trending market.

I wish all the students bright prospect and all the very best in all their
future endeavours.
