Albern was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 1 April 2015. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Digi. Since joining Digi in 2002, he has held roles in Project Planning & Controls, Product Management & Product Development, and as Head of Strategy & New Business, Acting Co-Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. Before Digi, his previous experiences include business and commercial management roles in Lucent Technologies across the Asian region. Albern Murty will be joining Telenor Group’s Executive Management team as Executive Vice President (EVP) for the Developed Asia cluster on 1 August 2018. Albern will continue to serve as Digi CEO and will now additionally oversee Telenor’s operations in Thailand (dtac) and Malaysia. Albern holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising Management from Portland State University, Oregon, USA.

Albern is in charge of the day-to-day management of Digi and implementing the company’s long and short term plans together with the Digi Management Team (DMT) members. He leads the CXOs, a smaller group that is responsible for ensuring coordination with the Board of Directors, securing end-to-end execution in the Company’s functional areas and managing day-to-day business. Nakul joined Digi as Chief Finance Officer on 1 August 2017. Formerly, he was the Chief Finance Officer and Acting Chief Marketing Officer at Telenor Hungary. Prior to that, he held various Finance roles in Telenor India which includes Vice President and Head of Business Strategy & Performance Management, Associate Vice President of Finance, Head of Accounting, Internal Controls & Taxation and Head of Financial Reporting. Before Telenor, he was in Ernst&Young India and Pricewaterhouse Coopers India. Nakul is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi.

Nakul is mandated to develop, maintain and implement company strategies, policies and procedures in order to establish organisational capabilities to meet current and emerging business needs for the functional area which include treasury operations, fund management & collection, financial strategy & information management, business finance, governance & control, supply chain management, investor relations, financial projects. Loh was appointed Chief Marketing Officer on 30 March 2016. Prior to that, he was Chief Sales Officer. He has held other various senior positions within the Marketing Division in his 10 years with Digi. These include Head of Postpaid, Head of Corporate Strategy and Broadband, Head of Product Marketing, and Head of Channels and Regional Management. He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and accounting industries, having held roles at PT Mobile-8 Tbk Indonesia and PricewaterhouseCoopers prior to joining Digi. Loh is a Chartered Accountant who holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Monash University, Australia.
Roles & Responsibility – Marketing
Loh manages a division that combines all current Marketing and Sales functions, with an overall mandate to drive end-to-end customer focus and delivery, and enable deeper collaboration and faster execution. The alignment between Marketing and Sales brings about greater synergies across functions to help accelerate Digi’s go-to-market, and drive more efficient operations to take Digi through its next phase of growth. The division will spearhead Digi's revenue growth, lead and implement end-to-end go-to-market deliverables in support of our ambition to be Loved by Customers. This includes creating stronger cohesion across divisions to achieve product portfolio and service excellence, delivering our brand promise through relevant channels and campaigns, and managing a robust customer service operation and regional management. Eugene was appointed Chief Corporate Affairs Officer on 1 January 2014. Formerly, he was a Director at the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) of the Prime Minister’s Department. Eugene previously helmed senior leadership roles in Arthur D. Little, and McKinsey & Co. He was also a senior investment officer at Singapore’s Economic Development Board. Eugene holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California Berkeley, USA.

Kesavan was appointed Chief Technology Officer on 1 June 2017. Since joining Digi in August 2013, he has held various senior positions in the company including Chief Network Officer and Head of Technology Operations. Prior to Digi, he was the General Manager of Access Network at Vodafone Australia. Kesavan has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in several Asian and European markets including Malaysia, Germany, Australia, Cambodia, Vietnam and Bangladesh, working with network vendors like Lucent and Ericsson, and operators like Maxis and Vodafone. Kesavan holds a Bachelor of Business from Deakin University, Australia and a Master of Science in Enterprise Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology, New York, USA.

Kesavan is mandated to build a best-in-class network by enhancing the current framework and introducing new technologies, and driving network quality, stability and security to further enhance customer experience. He also has an overall accountability for product development, project and portfolio management as well as IT strategy and development, with a strong focus on ensuring solid cohesion across divisions in accelerating go-to-market readiness. The Technology team comprises of CTO Office, Digital IT, IT Development and Operations, Network Planning and Implementation, Product Development, Project Portfolio Office, Security and Strategy & Architecture. Haroon was appointed Chief Human Resource Officer on 1 July 2013. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of People Development at Telenor Asia. Formerly, he held leadership positions within Telenor Asia’s business units, including Chief People Officer in Grameenphone Ltd, Bangladesh and Total Access Communications Public Company Limited, Thailand. Haroon began his career with the Telenor Group in 2005 with Telenor Pakistan. Haroon is a graduate of McGill University in Canada. He holds a Master of Arts in Political Science (International Relations), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science.

Praveen was appointed Chief Digital Officer on 1 June 2016. He joined Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd in 2007, and brings more than 15 years of experience in the internet and mobile industries. He has held multiple leadership positions in his ten year stint with Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd, and these include Head of Advanced Data Services, Head of Products – Internet & Services, and Head of Postpaid & Digital Services. Prior to joining Digi, Praveen co-founded a social networking startup called LifeLogger in 2003, where he served as the Chief Technology Officer. Praveen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), Electronics and Computing from Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, England.

Praveen is responsible for building up digitally adjacent businesses and core competencies to power up our position in the digital arena. Digi-X will dream up and bring to live projects and businesses independent of Digi and beyond telco - from adjacent services to new digital verticals that could someday become part of our core business. Joachim was appointed Chief Corporate Affairs Officer on 1 February 2018. He has been with Digi and Telenor for close to 10 years, and has held various senior roles in this period including Growth and Partnerships Lead at Digi's venture building arm Digi-X, VP - Head of Corporate Communications in Telenor Myanmar, and Head of Communications and Sustainability at Digi. Joachim has two decades of experience in corporate communications, sustainability planning and governance, public affairs, and business environment management. Joachim holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, and has completed executive education programmes at London Business School.
