7 tendencias en ciberseguridad para 2016

Con más de 50.000 ataques registrados, 2015 ha sido un año en el que el número de ataques se ha disparado
un 177% con respecto al año anterior. Ha aumentado la exposición de todos los sectores, pero destaca el
número de ataques hacia infraestructuras críticas y el aumento de ataques a portales de venta online. En 2015
el INCIBE registró más de 65 “incidentes de seguridad” vinculados a las infraestructuras críticas en España,
entre las que se encuentran el sistema energético, el de transporte o el financiero.

besides the clear benefits that mobility provides as a mean to improve efficiency, productivity and user
convenience, it in turn does require proper methods for secure access control. In this paper, we discuss the
use of face biometric technology and share our thoughts on key related issues and concerns: usability,
security, robustness against spoofing attacks, and user privacy among others.

Fusión secuencial óptima para criptosistemas multibiométricos

cryptosystems have been widely studied in the literature to protect
biometric templates. To ensure sufficient security of the biometric
cryptosystem against the offline brute-force attack (also called the FAR
attack), it is critical to reduce FAR of the system. One of the most effective
approaches to improve the accuracy is multibiometric fusion, which can be
divided into three categories: feature level fusion, score level fusion, and
decision level fusion. Among them, only feature level fusion can be applied
to the biometric cryptosystem for security and accuracy reasons. c

apps are used to manage highly valuable data, such as financial
transactions, personally identifiable information (PII) or intellectual
property. It is vital therefore to secure access to these apps through strong
authentication. Yet the current widespread reliance on usernames and
passwords presents a growing significant burden on users and businesses
– delivering a poor user experience, inadequate security, spiralling costs,
and lower revenues and profits. Biometric authentication presents a
strategic way to overcome these deficiencies, which combines an
improved user experience and higher security.

Estudio sobre la inserción de fibra óptica en redes de

comunicación subterráneas utilizando similaridad hidráulica

regulations require a new approach of cities facilities networks, including
the communication ones. In this respect, the communication providers
generalize the underground networks, following the streets trails. The
transmission support consists in a network of tubes, protecting a number of
micro-tubes/microducts, which protect the real transmission facilitators
made by optical fibers. Presently, the producers of this type of devices
promote special norms of information on characteristics and installation of
the product, but there are not reliable accepted standardized methods for
optical fibers insertion in pre-installed micro-tubes/microducts and for the
devices forces computation, necessary for underground communication
networks.

whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a utility
(like the electricity grid) over a network (typically the Internet). Clouds can be classified as public, private or
hybrid. Cloud computing, or in simpler shorthand just “the cloud”, also focuses on maximizing the effectiveness
of the shared resources. Cloud resources are usually not only shared by multiple users but are also
dynamically reallocated per demand.

Comunicación móvil de datos utilizando encriptado biométrico

A mobile App using biometric encryption and decryption for privacy and
security having both authentication and recognition functions. It utilizes the
built-in camera of the mobile device to provide facial images for
authentication purposes. It further includes a secured data communication
system for conveniently sending and receiving data on the mobile devices.
The secured data communication system also utilizes biometric encryption
and decryption technology for granting permissions to access the data
communication system.

Systems and methods for aviation communication monitoring using speech

recognition are provided. In one embodiment, a method for multichannel
avionics communication is provided. The method comprises: configuring a
software defined radio to generate digitized audio data for a plurality of
voice communication channels; audibly reproducing voice communication
received over a first channel of the plurality of voice communication
channels; applying a trigger word speech recognition algorithm to at least a
second channel of the plurality of voice communication channels to detect
a message containing a trigger word; and when a trigger word is detected,
storing a communication containing the trigger word and generating an
alert.

Métodos y sistemas para capturar información biométrica

A method of capturing biometric data is provided that includes activating a

security application in a device. The security application is activated by an
operator of the device and is configured to cause the device to display an
outline image. Moreover, the method includes displaying the outline image
in a stationary position on a display of the device, positioning desired
biometric data proximate the device such that the desired biometric data
appears as a biometric image on the device display, and monitoring the
outline and biometric images shown on the device display. Furthermore,
the method includes positioning the device and the desired biometric data
to better align the outline and biometric images when the outline and
biometric images do not align and capturing the desired biometric data
from an individual after approximately aligning the outline image with the

that worldwide shipments of wirelessly enabled wearable devices will grow from 72.5 million in 2015 at a
compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25.8 percent to 228.3 million in 2020. The cellular attach rate at the
end of the forecast period is forecasted to be 7.8 percent.
