Courseplay English User Manual

Control:

Right mouse button opens the courseplay HUD (Heads Up Display).

Additionally NUMPAD 7 to 9 control functions such as "Drive Course" and "Drive Stop" (These
are usually displayed in the F1 Help diag box)

HUD:

When the HUD is opened, mouse control is automatically activated. That means you you can not
look around with the mouse. To disable the mouse control you have to click again on the right
mouse button.

Alternatively, you can also click on the red X top right of the HUD. This closes the HUD and
returns mouse control.

The HUD is divided into several sub-sections. These can be changed by the blue arrows in the
upper part of the HUD.

In the middle of the HUD you can adjust various settings on every page, or give commands.
Simply click on the desired text to perform an action.

At the bottom of the HUD you can find information about your course and the current status.
You can click the blue floppy disk icon to save your course.

HUD "Courseplay Control"

Record Course Start:

Begin Recording with Courseplay. Ihr könnt damit den Kurs einfahren den der Abfahrer später
fahren soll. (You can exit this vehicle and continue recording later?)

When activated, initially a start icon and two barrels are set at a distance of 10-20 meters. You
should make sure that you drive straight until the second barrel if possible.

You can press the right mouse button to control the camera while recording.

Record Course Interrupt:

While recording a course, this option is available to pause recording. You will see a yellow
arrow pointing to the last waypoint. While paused you can delete the last waypoint.

Record Course Stop:

This option ends the recording process. Press this at the end of your route.

It is recommended that the endpoint is located about 10 meters before the start point, and
should be approached so you are facing the startpoint.

Set waitpoint:

While recording you can set points for the vehicle to wait. When driving the course later the
vehicle will stop until you manually send it on. (NUMPAD 8 )

If a vehicle has reached a waitpoint you will be shown at the bottom of the screen.
Drive Course:

When you have recorded a course, you can press this to activate courseplay and have the
vehicle drive the course. (NUMPAD 7 )

Drive Stop:

While courseplay is active, you can press this to stop the vehicle driving the course. (NUMPAD
7)

If you Press "Drive Course" again, he will continue his route from the last waypoint.

Reset course:

Deletes all the current waypoints from memory. Does not effect settings.

Continue:

This option is available to you when the vehicle has reached a waitpoint. (NUMPAD 8 )

Change Modus:
Press this mode option to cycle through the different types of course.

The current type is displayed at the bottom of the HUD.

Type: Drivinghelper

The vehicle will wait at the starting point until it is fully loaded and then run the course. If the
vehicle passes through a dump trigger it will stop and empty it's trailer.

At the start point you can press "Drive now" and it will run the course immediately.

Type: Combi

The Combi mode is similar to Drivinghelper mode with the difference that the vehicle at the
start point does not wait until it is loaded, it automatically drives to the combines or harvester
on the current field, and fills while moving.

When the trailer is full the vehicle will drive to the first barrel, and continue his course as for
Drivinghelper mode.

In order for combi mode to work the startpoint must be on the same field as the combines
are. OR you must manually select ONE combine or harvester in the "Manage Combines" HUD
page.

Type: Overloader

Similar to combi mode, the difference being that the vehicle (ULW trailer) unloads at at
waitpoint you must set. When the vehicle is full it will drive the course to the waitpoint, and
continue on automatically once empty.
Type: Target

In this mode, the vehicle will only drive it's course. It will not wait at the startpoint or unload.

This mode is associated with waitpoints in order to bring equipment to the field, or for
example, to other farms.

Type: Fertilice

In fertilise mode, the vehicle fills a sprayer or slurry tanker at the startpoint, then drives the
course.

A waitpoint should mark the position on the course where spraying will begin, and another
waitpoint ends spraying.

Between the waitpoints the sprayer will automatically unfold and turn on and spray the field.
If the sprayer is emptied during the course, the vehicle will drive directly to the endpoint, then
return to the startpoint and refill, then continue from the position he stopped spraying at.

Type: Manuretransporter

The Manuretransporter mode is intended for using a slurry tanker Güllebomber to transport
slurry to the Krassort Feldcontainer which is at the edge of a field.

the vehicle will fill at a slurry trigger and unload into the Krassort Feldcontainer.

Type: Fieldwork (balers, forage wagons, bale stacker's)

The field work mode is similar to the fertilisation mode. Use a previously recorded course with
a baler, bale stacker or forage wagon for example. The round bailer will automatically discharge
the bale when full. The forage wagon course should pass over a dump trigger. It will drive the
course until full, record it's position, drive to the endpoint(waitpoint) of the field then continue
it's course over the dump point, dump and return to the recorded position to work the rest of
the field.

The working range of the Fieldwork course must be marked, as in fertilisation mode, by two
waitpoints.

Type: Combine goes self to unload

This mode is similar to Overloader, but just for combines. The startpoint of the course is the
point the Combine starts moving towards when it is full. It then travels the course until it reaches
a waitpoint. At the waitpoint it empties into a trailer and once empty, the course continues. At
the endpoint the combine activates the helper. If it has already begun working the field it will
resume from the last position.

Here's how: Record a short course where the combine passes the trailer, place a waitpoint
with the pipe over the trailer. Then the combine is driven to the start of the field as for helper
mode. Set the endpoint. Helper mode is automatically activated when the course is started.

Drive now:

If a course has been run this option resets the course again. The stored configuration data is
not deleted, it only restarts the current course again. (NUMPAD 9 )

Stop at last point or next trigger:

Halts the vehicle at the endpoint of the course, or a trigger that is relevant to the current
modus, whichever comes first.

Start:

Resumes from "stop at last point or next trigger"

Course generate:

This option generates a box around the current course. The "working width" determines the
path created inside the box.

Here's how: start recording course, drive once around the area, set width and then generate
the course. Another tip: I save the box around the field, so I can experiment with the width later.

HUD Save Course:

In the lower area of the HUD you can find a floppy disk icon. If you've recorded a course you
can save your course by clicking on the disk. Then at the top of the screen an input is displayed.
Here you can assign a name for your course using the keyboard and press ENTER to confirm.

HUD "Manage Courses"

On the HUD there is a listing of your saved courses. You can click on the folder icon to load a
course. Delete a course by clicking on the red X.

WARNING: since version 1.2 if you want to load a new course you will need to reset the
current course, otherwise it combines the two courses!

Using the blue arrows on the right top and bottom right you can scroll through the saved
courses.

Note on combining courses: The folder icon without the blue arrow combines the courses on
the first common crossing point. The folder icon with the blue arrow combines the courses in a
row.

HUD "Settings combi mode"

These settings are valid (as the name suggests) for the Combi mode and Overload mode. With
this you can customise your vehicle to the respective Combine.

You can adjust the values by clicking on the +/- icons to the right of the HUD.

Side Offset:

This value defines the lateral distance to the side which the vehicle must maintain from its
combine or forage harvester.

Start at%:
This value determines how full the combine must be before the vehicle will move to unload it.

For forage harvesters this value determines when the second vehicle will follow behind the
first in the chain.

Turning radius:

This value is only important when silageing. It determines how far the vehicle should move
away from the forage harvester when it turns at the end of the row.

Pipe spacing:

This value determines how far in front or back of the combine the vehicle will travel. This
allows the vehicle to fill several trailers.

HUD "Manage Combines"

These settings are only relevant for the combi mode. Here you can set whether the vehicle
should automatically look for a harvester or combine (default) or whether it will be manually
assigned a combine.

If you manually assign a combine that is not on the same field, The course will run
automatically from its start point to the combine, no matter where it is located.

This setting is particularly useful for large or hilly areas where automatic allocation will not
work, and fields without a cultivated texture eg Grass.
HUD "Speed Limit"

Here you can define how fast the course is driven. I guess the settings are self explanatory
Wink

HUD "General Settings"

Pathfinding:

Here you can switch the pathfinding function on/off. Pathfinding attempts to avoid driving on
the fruit, as in real life. This also switches on/off whether the combine is unloaded when the
pipe is on the fruit side.

Open Courseplay:

Here you can set whether you open the Courseplay HUD with the right mouse button or the
INS key.

Show waypoints:

Here you can set whether, and which, of the courses waypoints are displayed as a keg.
Beaconligts:

Here you can affect the behaviour of the flashing beacon while driving.

HUD "Drive Settings"

WaitTime:

Here you can specify the hold time of the waiting points. If it is set to 0.0 sec the tractor waits
indefinitely.

Waypoint-X Offset:

Here you can specify that the waypoints are displaced to the left or right?

hier könnt ihr einstellen, dass der Abfahre r im Feldarbeitsmodus den Kurs seitlich versetzt
abfhährt

Waypoint-Z Offset:

as the first value, but not for the lateral offset, but the offset to the front / rear

Working with: (width)

To generate a course you can adjust the width of your implement. While adjusting, two kegs
appear behind the tractor to show the currently set width.
