From the above statement, we see that the statement implies that affirming the differences
between men and women in accordance with the difference theory means that women are
voluntarily accepting that men are dominant than woman due to the fact that women are
acknowledging the differences between men and women. It is my opinion that the differences
are fundamentally due to biological and these factors are not due to the choices of either gender.

Of course, there are differences between both the genders in terms of biological and physical
reasons but accepting these differences does not mean that women are acknowledging the fact
that men are more dominant than men. Other factors such as intellectual capacity, character etc
differ between men and these cannot be broadly divided generically between men and women.

There are men who are mentally not as strong as men and succumb to stress and other such
factors as well as there are women who handle a lot of stressful things in life and still pull
through. It is to be understood that historically and culturally women have always been raised
by the constant and endless barrage of “men/boys should only do certain things”. This has made
the woman to believe that she is inferior on all aspects to men. But the truth is, it is not. There
are a lot of women who have broken this false ceiling imposed on women over the centuries
and have achieved in administration, politics and sports for example.

Difference does not mean dominance necessarily. It only means women are only
acknowledging their inherent differences from men which are due to biological and some other
reasons which are not controllable by either men or women. Therefore, acknowledging such
differences does not mean that women are voluntarily conceding that men are dominant.

True, men do have an advantage in those particular aspects but these aspects alone does not
imply dominance of one over the other. In patriarchal societies, such a belief is instilled in the
minds of both young men and women who are then raised in that mindset and are seeing events
which happen due to the imbuement of such mindsets which only adds to strengthening their
belief of the dominance theory.
