SolidWorks 2010 or before - CADAS/Geo interface configuration
The parts and assembly formed data which were created before [ SolidWorks 2010 ] are changed into the
analysis formed data of CADAS/GEO.
* For installation in the Windows7 OS, perform installation with Administrator account or an account having administrator privilege.

【The installation method】

1. Please check that “SWXXcds.dll” and “SWXXcds.reg” are in [bin_win32] (ex.C:¥cadas¥bin_win32) of a CADAS installation
directory.
2. Please choose “SWXXcds.reg” with Explorer etc. and click the right button.
3. Please choose “edit” from a menu.
4. Please change the directory name of ［@="c:¥¥cadas¥¥bin_winXX??SWXXcds.dll"］ to be the name of the directory where
the "SWXXcds.dll".
ex) ： @="c:¥¥cadas¥¥bin_win64¥¥sw10cds.dll"
Note : Two directory punctuation marks “¥” are required.
5. Please end after choosing [file]-[overwriting].
6. Please double-click SWXXcds.reg.
The message "the information on ～SWXXcds.reg was correctly inputted into registry" is displayed.
7. Please start SolidWorks XX and choose [Tool]-[Add-in].
8. Please check “SolidWorks XX-CADAS Interface”.
※**: 32 or 64
※XX is a version of SolidWorks.
【The uninstallation method】
1. On the Windows PC, select [Specify file name] from the [Start] menu - [All Programs] - [Accessories].
2. Please input “regedit” and push the [OK] button at the place of a "name."
3. Please move to
.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
| -SOFTWARE
| -SolidWorks
| - Application.
4. There is "SolidWorksXX-CADAS Interface".
5. Please delete the folder.

The parts and assembly formed data which were created henceforth [ SolidWorks2011 ] are changed into the
analysis formed data of CADAS/GEO.
* For installation in the Windows7 OS, we recommend that you perform installation with Administrator account or an account
having administrator privilege.

【The installation method】

1. Please check "SWXXCDS.dll", "SWXXCDS_Reg.bat", and that "SWXXCDS_UnReg.bat" is in bin_win32
(ex.C:¥cadas¥bin_win32) of a CADAS installation directory.
2. Right-click SWXXCDS_Reg.bat and then select “Run as an administrator.”
A message “DllRegisterServer in SWXXCDS.dll succeeded” appears.
3. Please start SolidWorks20XX and choose [Tool] - [Aadd-in].
4. Please check "SolidWorks20 XX-CADAS Interface.“

※ **: 32 or 64
※XX is a version of SolidWorks.

【The uninstallation method】

1. Please double-click SWXXCDS_UnReg.bat.
The message "DllUnregisterServer of SWXXCDS.dll was successful" is displayed.
