CHAPTER III

PROCESS OF METHODOLOGY

3.1 PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION

This is a process of examining the existing plant and the observation to be

completed for the purpose of identifying the problem and additional function has
been added to the biodiesel plant for higher yield of the biodiesel and
unnecessary process has been eliminated out.
 Most common problems associated with biodiesel production
depends with fuel quality i.e, the biodiesel may contain some
unconverted fuel but this project obtain nearly perfect purity of
biodiesel.
 Pure biodiesel is not consistent with few gasket and hose substances,
to overcome these blending is necessary and many manufacturing
firms produce B5 and B20 types which has the low percent of
biodiesel.
 Feasibility analysis for the implementation of a biodiesel production
plant.
 More complicated titration process has been eliminated out by
choosing transesterification method, which inturn produce more
biodiesel.

3.2 OBJECTIVES

Our objective is to model and construction of Bio-Diesel processor and produces the Bio-
Diesel by using the Bio-Diesel processor.

Transesterification is the process of the reaction of ester with an alcohol in the

presence of an acid catalyst. With this, we obtain nearly perfect purity of biodiesel
and reduce the purification process after biodiesel production. Thus we can obtain
15litres of biodiesel per batch from biodiesel feedstock

3.2 PRESENT STUDY

In this project we are using the new material inconel alloy 740, inconel alloy
783,
wrought aluminum alloy 2219The impeller is analyzed under different
loading
condition and its corresponding fatigue life is calculated using different
results obtained from the analysis.
