Here where we live in Missouri, summer is in full force! The days are
long, the temperature is hot, and the humidity is high. My family is enjoying
time in the garden, and my young children are learning what tomatoes and
squash and cucumbers look like on the vine. The dark days of winter are long
gone, and for me, this is a powerful reminder of God's promise to rescue us
from the darkness of sin and bring us to a better place, to a heavenly home
with an "eternal summer" where the miracle of life never ends!
While we live here on earth, however, there is work to be done. Pathway
to Paradise Ministries takes seriously Christ's great commission to spread
the everlasting gospel with the world. We also take
seriously the unique end-time warning of the three
angels' messages in Revelation 14, and believe that
this is the time to both share and experience this
life-giving message with the world. Thank you for
partnering with us, praying for us, and supporting
Tim Rumsey us in this endeavor.

Have You Prayed Today?

"Keep your wants, your joys, your sorrows, your cares, and your fears before

God. You cannot burden Him; you cannot weary Him. He who numbers the

hairs of your head is not indifferent to the wants of His children…Take to Him

everything that perplexes the mind. Nothing is

too great for Him to bear, for He holds up worlds,

He rules over all the affairs of the universe. Nothing that

in any way concerns our peace is too small for Him to notice.

There is no chapter in our experience too dark for Him to read;

there is no perplexity too difficult for Him to unravel."

Banana Carob Smoothie
Prep: 5 mins | Total: 5 mins | Yield: 1 to 2 servings
Ingredients
1/4 cup raw almonds
3 frozen bananas, cut into 1” to 2” chunks
1/3 cup vanilla almond milk, vanilla soy milk, or canned coconut milk
1 teaspoon Teeccino Vanilla Nut Naturally Caffeine-Free Herbal Coffee (optional)
2 tablespoons carob powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions
Place almonds, milk, carob powder, Teeccino (optional), salt, vanilla, and
approximately 1 1/2 frozen bananas in blender. (A heavy-duty blender works
best for this recipe; other blenders may not get the mixture smooth enough.)
Blend until bananas are mostly blended. Add remaining banana and blend
until fairly smooth. Mixture will be thick; I find it blends best by alternating
between cycle 1 and cycle 9 on my blender. Do not overblend or mixture will
lose its frostiness. Serve immediately.
Notes
1. Don’t skip the step of freezing bananas – this step is essential for a rich,
creamy, sweet smoothie. And definitely don’t add ice cubes – it doesn’t work.
2. For a sweeter smoothie, add 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup.

Is the Reformation Finished?

Is the Protestant Reformation finished? Was it sim-
ply a passing "family feud" within Christianity, an in-
significant historical footnote with little relevance to
modern life? This book explains the history of the
Protestant Reformation and shows that the primary
issue behind the Reformation—the question of spiri-
tual authority—matters more today than it did 500
years ago. In today's world
where all churches and all religions are called to
unite under the banner of visible unity, we must
not forget why the Reformers chose to sepa-
rate, and why they were willing to die for this
choice. The final battle still lies ahead. The Ref-
ormation is not finished—it has only just begun!
