Thunder, Perfect Mind
by Martina Posted: Fri Oct 29, 2010 3:54 am

Shalom friends,

since the scripture "Thunder, Perfect Mind" is the theme of this years Feast of St. Lazarus I was
wondering if more of the wisdom behind the words as seen in the Sophian tradition could be shared
here. It is a facinating scripture!

The beginning seems to speak quite directly about the clear light from which all arises and to
which all returns. Is also brings to mind Elijahs experience on Mount Horeb:

"I was sent forth from the power,

and I have come to those who reflect upon me,
and I have been found among those who seek after me.
Look upon me, you who reflect upon me,
and you hearers, hear me.
You who are waiting for me, take me to yourselves.
And do not banish me from your sight.
And do not make your voice hate me, nor your hearing.
Do not be ignorant of me anywhere or any time."

There are also passages in the scripture that seem harder to decipher:

“Do not be arrogant to me when I am cast out upon the earth,

and you will find me in those that are to come.
And do not look upon me on the dung-heap
nor go and leave me cast out,
and you will find me in the kingdoms.
And do not look upon me when I am cast out among those who
are disgraced and in the least places,
nor laugh at me.
And do not cast me out among those who are slain in violence.
But I, I am compassionate and I am cruel.”

and:
“Those who are close to me have been ignorant of me,
and those who are far away from me are the ones who have known me.
On the day when I am close to you, you are far away from me,
and on the day when I am far away from you, I am close to you.”

It would be wonderful to learn what others like to share about this scripture.

All of our Relations

by Elder Sarah Posted: Sat Oct 30, 2010 12:36 pm

Shalom Martina,

May the Blessings and Grace of the True Light move and dance with you this day!

Indeed Thunder Perfect Mind is a beautiful writing, most mysterious and thought provoking!

Actually, Thunder Perfect Mind itself was not used in this years feast, but a certain contemplation
it invokes participated in the underlining energy of the feast. Upon moving into this years feast,
along with many other perceptions, was a contemplation concerning all of our relations. The Feast
of the Blessed Dead is a ceremony in which we pray for those who are near death or who have
actually past on. Typically this ceremony involves prayers and guidance through particular realms
and worlds that a disincarnate soul would experience. The idea of concern for all our relations has
to do with the fact that the journey of a soul in the afterlife would be dependent upon how one
has lived. If we consider how one has lived, it has everything to do with how we have related to
others.

The segment in Thunder Perfect Mind that stands out in this regard is as follows,

“I am wife and virgin.

I am the mother and daughter.
I am the members of my mother and the barren one with many sons.
I have had a grand wedding and have not found a husband.
I am a midwife and do not give birth.
I am the solace of my labor pains.
I am bride and groom, and my husband that produced me
I am the mother of my father and sister of my husband, and he is my offspring.
He produced me earlier yet on my birthday.
He is my offspring to come”

If we examine this segment we find we simply cannot pin down who and what this One speaking is.
She is first a wife and yet a virgin. She is the Mother and the daughter. Next she is as the daughter
who is the members of her mother. The barren one that still somehow has children. She is married,
because she had a Grand Wedding, yet has still not found a husband. She assists in birthing and
does not give birth herself, yet we have heard she is a mother. She comforts her own labor pains,
although she does not give birth. She is the bride and the groom, neither female nor male. Her
husband is the one who produced her, she has arisen from the masculine. She mothered her own
father and is the sister of her own husband, the one that birthed her! Her husband is her own
child. She was birthed by her husband before her birthday, what kind of birth is that? And, her
husband is the child she has not had!

This relates to prayer for those who are dying or have died in that, to the extent we can remember
we ARE all of our relations, the sorrow and suffering of attachment and aversions though the
afterlife stages would be alleviated. All judgment we might experience in the afterlife stages
would be dependent on how we have treated all beings. Have we been loving? Have we been
thoughtful of others? Have we contributed to the uplifting of humanity? If we have, somehow it was
because we could identify with being our mother, our father, a wife, a husband, our children, a
son, a daughter, a grandparent etc….these relations only then extend out to friends and even
strangers.

We learn in dreamtime that all the beings who show up are as a part of us. These parts of us are
conveying parts of our consciousness to our selves. You could say, they need to be heard and so
they show up in a form we can recognize. We learn, if a Tzaddik shows up in dreamtime, most of
the time this will symbolize the Christ self within sharing a message we need to hear. If the bully
we encountered in high school shows up in dream, we must at that time be encountering the
energy in life that the bully kid symbolizes to us in consciousness. If this can be said in dreamtime,
then so too can this be said in waking consciousness. Every being we encounter is as the radiance
of our own consciousness. If we can encompass each being as a part of our self, and not consider
the being separate from our self, don’t we then embrace the whole of Self?

Now, this segment in Thunder Perfect Mind also hints at the recognition of the Neshamah, the part
of Soul that is transcendent of incarnation. In the view of Neshamah, we are all of our relations
because we have incarnated as all of them. The Tradition says, all of our incarnations are
happening simultaneously. Essentially what this is saying is we are all our relations living at once.
This gets rather subtle and sublime and hard to speak about, but can be experienced in moments
of Light Transmission.

Much more can be said of Thunder Perfect Mind itself. I was inclined to share this contemplation
with you as this was and is the angle that has been in circling in thought around the Feast of the
Blessed dead.

Many Blessings and Shalom!

We and Our in Unity

by sheryl Posted: Sun Oct 31, 2010 3:42 pm

Greetings Elder Sarah+ and Sister Martina!

I much appreciate this teaching, Elder Sarah+, especially a couple of thoughts that you shared, for
they touch on something that has been circling in my mind this last week:

We learn in dreamtime that all the beings who show up are as a part of us. These parts
of us are conveying parts of our consciousness to our selves...

If we can encompass each being as a part of our self, and not consider the being
separate from our self, don’t we then embrace the whole of Self?

Can it be said that on one level there is only One Self experiencing itself in a myriad of
incarnations and experiences? And we as a unique point of consciousness are experiencing this
myriad of incarnations and experiences, life after life after life after life? And so all parts speaks
to both parts of us individually, uniquely, and parts of us in Unity? Perhaps it might even be proper
to say all parts of the Human One?

In the view of Neshamah, we are all of our relations because we have incarnated as all
of them. The Tradition says, all of our incarnations are happening simultaneously.
Essentially what this is saying is we are all our relations living at once.

And so when I read the above, I am hearing more than the singular incarnations of the individual
soul. The 'our' and the 'we' at the level of the Neshamah feels to be speaking of the Entirety, so
that the characters in my personal dreams are also the characters in all of our dreams, as they are
the characters in the dreams of the Human One. What we dream at a particular point in time and
space reflects the part of this One Experience of the Human One that we are personally playing out
- the higher our consciousness or awareness then the more of the Entirety that is encompassed or
embraced in our dreaming.

The simultaneous occurrence of all our incarnations then is not solely speaking of us as individuals,
but of us as Neshamah, where all occurrences of all are simultaneous.

This causes many thoughts on wonderworking to arise. But I am finding it difficult even to give
words to this much, so will pause here.

Shabbat Shalom and Blessings to all!

Shalom Elder Sarah+, Sister Sheryl and friends!

Thank you so much for this wonderful contemplation on this segment from Thunder Perfect Mind.
Like you Sheryl I am also struck by what Elder Sarah+ shares:

“In the view of Neshamah, we are all of our relations because we have incarnated as all
of them. The Tradition says, all of our incarnations are happening simultaneously.
Essentially what this is saying is we are all our relations living at once.”

Perhaps our Holy Soul then enables us to see that we are connected with everything around us
even on the material level through evolution, as the part of our DNA that is specifically human
makes up only about 1,5 %. This seems to be a very direct connection to remember and cultivate as
it is so close to our everyday experience.

I am also fascinated with our contemplation Sheryl:

“And so when I read the above, I am hearing more than the singular incarnations of the
individual soul. The 'our' and the 'we' at the level of the Neshamah feels to be speaking
of the Entirety, so that the characters in my personal dreams are also the characters in
all of our dreams, as they are the characters in the dreams of the Human One. What we
dream at a particular point in time and space reflects the part of this One Experience of
the Human One that we are personally playing out - the higher our consciousness or
awareness then the more of the Entirety that is encompassed or embraced in our
dreaming.”

What comes to mind with your words is that individuality seems to be an illusion in dual
consciousness and that there is much more to be explored in our connectedness with everything on
multiple levels. Understanding this, as Elder Sarah+ points out

“the sorrow and suffering of attachment and aversions through the afterlife stages
would be alleviated.”

Martina

Diamond Being
by Elder Sarah Posted: Sun Nov 07, 2010 10:05 am
Shabbat Shalom Sheryl and Martina!

May the Mother Spirit bless and uplift all relations this day!

It does appear Sheryl that we could say, indeed, there is One being dreaming and enacting all of
the reality display. I have heard masters of the Tradition speak of this idea as though we are all like
facets of a Diamond Being. Imagine a giant diamond, if you were to look at each facet, you would
see it as a unique manifestation of the whole Being. Also, the image of a web arises. As though we
are all a cord of the web, all interconnected, if you pull on one cord, many are affected.

What also comes to mind is the contemplation of how Yeshua takes up the sin’s of the world, as
spoken in the Gospel. How indeed does this happen? It appears to be so because he becomes the
world. In order to “become” the world, one would have to identify with the whole of the world.
So, at the same time as being one of the facets of the Diamond Being, one would also have a
identification as the whole of the Diamond Being. Is the experience of the Risen Savior an
experience of a Being outside oneself? Or is this experience akin to the awareness of self as other,
hence self as the world?

Part of our struggle here, is that we consider ourselves so small and so insignificant. I will never
forget, on a road trip with Tau Malachi, where he was pointing out power zones in the land. He
would say, “feel that stone outcropping, that is a powerful zone in the land”. Or he would point
out a negative power zone at a distance. I started to wonder, how does he feel these if they are at
such a distance? I mean some of these zones were as far away as the eye could see. He explained,
you feel these because you become them, your body encompasses them. So, you know how they
feel according to how your body feels. He pointed out, most of the time it is felt in the belly. This
led to a contemplation of our body expanding, and eventually led to a recognition that Yeshua
must have literally became the world, his body growing to encompass the world. Again, we think of
ourselves as so small here, but that is because we identify with name and form, and this small
body we see as “ours”. This, does, of course point to the wonder working art, as you have
mentioned Sheryl, and is a hint at how the Apostle of Light is working their art!

I enjoy what you are mentioning here Martina, we, do have all of evolution in us. In fact, we are an
arising of evolution, out of all that has evolved upon the face of this great earth. The arising of the
Human One is an arising of a point of evolution in which a vessel has been generated that can
encompass a greater influx of Soul. As the Soul comes into the vessel of a human being, the vessel
itself is uplifted. In saying, “uplifted” we could say, all that has lead to the coming into being of
the vessel is also uplifted. This means, the Stone People, the Creepy Crawly People, the Finned
Ones, the Winged Ones, the Four Legged and the Two Legged (the Two legged because not all
vessels can receive that influx). This is how it is said the Human One brings voice to the stone
people, brings voice to creation. If it can be spoken by the Human One, than all that has lead to
the coming into being of this one, IS speaking!

It appears this awareness is the influx of Neshamah. It reminds of how Enoch was taken up and
became the Archangel Metatron. Metatron is said to be the Archangel of the Light Transmission.
Anytime I contemplate the Diamond Being, it always leads to contemplations of Metatron and the
idea that the ultimate fruition of the Human One, is to become a vehicle of the Transmission upon
the face of the Great Earth. It appears, Enoch in this way, is as the first Human Being who comes
into being enough to withstand the influx of the Light Transmission, therefore becomes the vehicle
for it. As it is said in the Scriptures, “Enoch walked with God and was no more”. Was no more, an
isolated, separate being? Was no more, a self separate from others? But, instead, an awareness of
the Diamond Being!

May we come to the awareness of the Divine Will, of the Divine Kingdom upon the face of this
Great Earth!

Many Blessings and Shalom!

Shalom, dear sisters !

I find this contemplation simply amazing. While I tend to contemplate humanity’s spiritual
evolution constantly, I rarely think about it in terms of the “diamond being.” However, this term
gives us a way of talking about something that already fills and surrounds us with a great depth of
feeling and empowerment. I think many of us are feeling this daily but don’t know quite how to
talk about it or express it. Sister Sarah’s+ expression and discussion here are thought provoking –
and, perhaps, more importantly, food for the heart and soul.

Blessings!

I have always taken this astonishing scripture as the voice of the Holy Spirit herself, She who was
First with the Father, and who gives life and the light of awareness to all - the contradictions and
paradoxes piled upon each other have something of the effect of Zen koans, but are also literal
truth; if the Spirit gives life to all, of course she is 'the whore and the holy one', She is Life Energy
itself in all its manifestations...?
