TEST V – EXPLANATION
DIRECTION: Answer the following
Ans:
Analytic Rubric articulates level of performance for each criterion so the teacher can assess
student performance on each criterion while Holistic in contrast does not list separate levels of
performance for each criterion. Instead Holistic Rubrics assigns a level of performance by assessing
performance across multiple criteria as a whole.
25-27. If you were to choose between Analytic and Holistic Rubric in assessing a student performance,
what would it be and why?
Ans:
It depends upon the time needs or the activity. There are times we must apply analytic rubric
and also holistic as well as there are activities that needs holistic rather than analytic. Therefore, you
can’t say I choose the one because they have significant rule in assessment.
28-30. How would you prove that a Rubric is an important tool in assessing the performance of the
student?
Ans:
Rubric is an important tool in assessing the performance of the student because an evaluator
doesn’t judge without any basis. A rubric serve as a basis in judging a set of work whether your
performance passed the given criteria. So rubric exhibit importance to increase your evaluation’s
credibility.
Good Luck!!!
