Purpose
Participants will learn who to contact
when issues arise in their grant, and
when it is appropriate to contact them.

Duration: 15 minutes

 Communication Protocols PowerPoint Slides 14-16
 Communication Exercise Handout
 Answer Sheet
 Copies of Escalation Policy
 Pens/Pencils

Directions
1. In conjunction with the presentation, the facilitator and participants should go through
the Handout together. You may mark one or more contacts for each “matter.”
2. After the Handout is completed, participants are encouraged to hold onto it for future
reference.
