SHIP – SHORE SAFETY CHECKLIST


Bulk Liquid - General Remarks
The agreed ship/shore communication system is System : CH-57
operative. Backup System : CH-10

The procedures of cargo, bunker and ballast
handling have been agreed.
The emergency signal and shutdown procedure
to be used by the ship and shore have been ‘’STOP, STOP, STOP ” @ CH-57
explained and understood.
Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the cargo
transfer have been exchanged where requested.
The hazards associated with toxic substances in H2S Content : [COQ: in Liquid phase]
the cargo being handled have been identified [Obs: in Vapor phase]
and understood.
Shore lines are fitted with a non-return valve, or
procedures to avoid back filling have been
discussed.
The maximum wind and swell criteria for Stop cargo at : 25 Knots
operations have been agreed. Disconnect at : 30 Knots
Unberth at : 40 Knots

GPSCO will provide TERMINAL NOMINATED quantity within limits of nomination as directed to GPSCO by SHIPPER. However GPSCO terminal
will assist ship to load its nominated quantity. Ship has to verify and confirm their nominated quantity of cargo for completion. GPSCO WILL
NOT CONSIDER SHORT LOADING if the cargo provided to vessel is within terminal nominated quantity. Hence GPSCO WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY
SHORT LOADING, DEAD FREIGHT CLAIMS or any such claims in such respects. GPSCO REQUIRES MINIMUM 15 MINUTES NOTICE FOR STOPPING
CARGO OPERATIONS EXCEPT IN EMERGENCY
