Introduction
Many publications are free to download from Teacher Support at teachers.cie.org.uk and
these items may not be listed in this catalogue.
The items listed in this catalogue are therefore physical copies (hard copy and in some cases
DVDs) that you can order in. Please note that some of these may be copies of the documents
rather than originals.
Our curriculum support materials are provided on the condition that they will not be
resold or traded to any third party; Cambridge International Examinations reserves the
right not to provide items to any organisation or to take any action that it considers
appropriate.
Six Syllabus and Support Materials DVDs (SS) containing syllabuses, past papers, mark
schemes and examiner reports are available, to cover the last six examination series. Each
Syllabus and Support Materials DVD offers all available materials at all levels for the
two previous exam series. In addition, each also contains future syllabuses: the 2014
syllabus is on all DVDs from March 2012, the 2015 syllabus on all DVDs from March 2013
and the 2016 syllabus on all DVDs from March 2014.
The DVDs can be ordered from Cambridge Publications using the order form at the back of
this catalogue. Printed copies of those items not available either on the DVDs or for
download free of charge on Teacher Support teachers.cie.org.uk in addition to listening CDs
(as listed on the following pages) may be purchased from Cambridge at the following prices:

of the world. In the table below, for example, you can see that Cambridge IGCSE Hindi – Second
Language (0549) Paper 2 has had three different variants since June 2014. These are shown as Paper
21, Paper 22 and Paper 23.

These handbooks are to be used by teachers requiring accreditation for marking coursework or
assessing candidates’ speaking skills in the Cambridge IGCSE subjects listed below. Schools only
need to buy one copy of the handbook, which can then be used by any number of teachers.
The handbooks are also excellent training resources containing marking exercises. The handbooks also
provide information on administering coursework in schools. It is assumed that schools will already
have copies of the relevant syllabus and standards booklet (where available) or will download them
from Teacher Support: teachers.cie.org.uk. These items will not be sent out with the handbook. Many
of the handbooks are now available free to download from Teacher Support: teachers.cie.org.uk
A charge of £29.40 is payable for each submission for accreditation, including any resubmissions. This
charge includes the services of the subject coursework/speaking test moderator who will:
- examine the marks that applicants submit for the unmarked exemplar coursework/mock Speaking
Tests they have conducted with their learners,
- provide feedback on any marking problems if necessary and
- issue a certificate stating that the teacher may now assess the candidates’ coursework for Cambridge
IGCSE. See the ‘Cambridge Handbook’ for more details.
It is recommended that these handbooks be used with the accompanying Cambridge Professional
Development for Teachers book for the subject, if available (see page 22).

For the Cambridge IGCSE syllabuses listed below, accreditation is not mandatory for teachers
conducting and assessing coursework/speaking tests. The coursework / speaking test training
handbooks provide guidance on the conduct and assessment of coursework/speaking tests, and we
strongly recommend that schools new to the syllabus complete this training.
Many of the handbooks are now available free to download from Teacher Support: teachers.cie.org.uk
All publications below are intended for Cambridge registered schools only. They are not suitable for
candidate use.
The Physical Education Coursework DVD provides teachers with examples of assessment for a range
of practical activities.
This compilation CD and booklet contains material from past examination series. It has been developed
to support teachers preparing students for the Cambridge IGCSE French - Foreign Language –
Listening test (syllabus 0520). This set consists of 3 CDs of listening material taken from June 1999 to
November 2002 examinations which are still relevant today, and an accompanying book of related
question papers.
These resources are aimed at teachers, providing guidance on planning a course and teaching
strategies. Cambridge IGCSE Art and Design Teacher Guide provides general approaches to Art and
Design Teaching, specifically Cambridge IGCSE. The philosophy and practice of teaching Art and
Design is covered in some depth, as well as plenty of illustrative projects for each of the components.
Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives Teaching Pack includes a Teacher Guide, Individual Research
Guide and Group Project Guide.

Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge O Level and Cambridge International AS and A Level: other
publications
All publications below are intended for Cambridge registered schools only. They are not suitable for
candidate use.
This guide has been co-developed by the Association for Science Education
(ASE) and Cambridge International Examinations. The purpose of this guide
is to encourage the increased use of practical work from primary through to
the end of secondary schooling. As ASE and Cambridge believe that much
can be done without expensive equipment, the guide has been written
specifically for schools with limited science resources. It gives advice on
preparing and equipping a basic laboratory cheaply, safely and effectively.
The book provides excellent and easy-to-follow guidance for teachers and
laboratory technicians on setting up and carrying out practical work. It shows
teachers how practical work does not have to be restricted by lack of
equipment, lack of expertise or other factors. It enables and encourages
teachers to provide a rich practical science experience for their students;
practical activities being one of the most exciting, rewarding and motivating
parts of science for teachers and learners.
Cambridge Qkit
The Cambridge Qkit is a resource for teachers, which consists of easy-to-use, subject-specific databases
of authentic Cambridge past examination questions together with mark schemes and examiner
commentary. Using Qkit, teachers can quickly and easily find examples of authentic Cambridge past
paper questions to create all kinds of practice material, from short homework assignments on a specific
topic to a full mock exam.
Demo CDs can be ordered free of charge when you place an order for other publications from this
