1. You are provided with specimen X, and solution L,M,N and O.. You
are going to investigate the effect of extract from X on solution O.

a) Get a knife or a razor blade and cut a cube measuring 1cm x 1cm x
1cm from specimen X provided. Crush it in a mortar to form a paste and
then add 10mls of distilled water to get an extract. Label the extract X1.

Get three test tubes labeled 1, 2, 3 and add the provided solutions.
