- pissed off: angry, upset (only used in speech and very colloquial!)

- to be tight with someone: to have a strong relationship with someone

- to reverse: to switch from one to the other

► role reversal: switching roles

- to be finished with sth, to yell at someone

- to nip sth in the bud: to stop sth before it is fully developed

► After our puppy pooped in the house for the first time, we started
properly training him. Behavior like that has to be nipped in the
bud.
